Teta is one of my go-tos when I visit the plateau! Their food is always worth the wait - especially in spring & summer when the Plateau is doing its thing, you can enjoy their seating outside. I recommend trying any of their manousheh along with a Lebanese flavoured iced latte - cardamom is my fave!View more

One thing I know is I can never travel to Montreal without eating at Cafe Chez Teta. Everything about this place is amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the employees! My favorite: The cardamom latte & their manoushes (Can't decide which one!). Where I live in the US we don't have anything like Cafe Chez Teta, Montreal is very lucky! Definitely will visit every time I come to Montreal!View more

The service was great, very friendly & informative. The food was outstanding! So full of flavour & perfectly prepared. We got the halva latte & cardamom ice coffee as well. Both coffees were delicious & you could clearly pick up cardamom spice & slightly bitter, sweet & creamy halva in both, respectively. All around awesome experience eating here.View more

Nous y étions pour souper, en semaine, & avons commandé le Baba Ghanouj pour entrée avec pain chaud, puis le Kefta de Teta & le Kefta & fromage. Les portions étaient immenses pour le prix! Bonnes saveurs! Le café à la cardamome était moins de notre goût & il faut se servir/se déplacer entre la cuisine & notre table. Je recommande.View more

What an amazing little restaurant/cafe Beautiful inside, very clean. Lovely staff. You order at the register, take a number & sit down, they'll bring your food or drink to you. I was only here briefly one rainy day. I ordered the cardamom latte & the salad with pomegranate but I wish i had ordered more. Everything was so delicious. Their sweets looked amazing. Went there for brunch around 10am, we didn't have to wait for a table for 2 but when we left around 11:30am there was a line so if you come a bit late you might have to wait to be seated. The atmosphere is super convivial & the staff are friendly. The menu is not huge, but there's some good options, we got the sfouf cake (vegan), the zaatar manaeesh & the cardamom latte with oat milk. Absolutely recommend the chicken/cheese manouché, it's very similar to a shawarma but unique enough to be worth the trip ! Definitly try the rose & pistachio cake 🩷. The only items that dissapointed me a little were the halva & cardamom lattes which were good but both lacked their respective tastes, but this is still definitely a cafe you should come try ❤️!View more

Wonderful Lebanese spot! We ordered cardamom & baklava latte, can't express enough how much I loved the cardamom latte! The manoucheh (chicken sandwich) was really yummy with lot of garlic sauce on top! We also tried zartar which tasted delicious as well! Highly recommend this place!View more

Cozy & very clean. Such great service. The Lebanese coffee with cardamom was everything my nostalgia wanted it to be. The rose & cardamom cake was as well. The Halva latte was so well balanced. If you don't know if you want sweet or savoury, As a snack, lunch, even breakfast, anything; The muhammara is the answer to all of those haha A must try. Everything is so flavourful I'm a fan of rose, especially here it's very every pallette friendly. Its delicate & floral & very present without being overwhelming or soapy. There's even a little section of specialty groceries, like pomegranate melasses etc that you pick up too. Will gladly come back anytime I'm in the city. Excellent Lebanese cafe... great atmosphere for eating in, although I usually get a bunch of dips & manouche to take home. Friendly staff & really nice coffees, some with a Lebanese twist: cardamom lattes & coffee, halvah lattes, etc. Reliably good & reliably packed, but it usually doesn't take too long to be served.View more
