I got the halva latte & the sfouf cake.
Halva latte: I loved this. It was made really well -- not overly milky, not overly sweet, the rose/saffron/pistachio flavors really came through, as did the espresso.
Sfouf cake: I loved the flavors of this cake, it was nutty & really fragrant. The cake was very moist & not overly sweet. The turmeric is very strong though, it dried out my mouth.
Highly recommend the drinks & pastries here. Chez Tata really delivers on the flavors. Service was wonderful also. I had so many questions about the pastries displayed & the barista took the time to go through all of them & let me know what they were in detail.View more

Quel délice! Mon nouvel endroit préféré de brunch! Nous sommes allés un vendredi vers 11h (nous savons que la fin de semaine c'est plein, donc on préfère venir lorsqu'on ne travaille pas un jour dans la semaine). Endroit simple & propre. So glad we came here! Loved the half cheese/half falafel with tomatoes & falafel but the biggest hit was the hummus!! Also really enjoyed the halva latte - not too sweet - & it went nicely with the halva brownie.View more

The service was great, very friendly & informative. The food was outstanding! So full of flavour & perfectly prepared. We got the halva latte & cardamom ice coffee as well. Both coffees were delicious & you could clearly pick up cardamom spice & slightly bitter, sweet & creamy halva in both, respectively. All around awesome experience eating here.View more

One of my favorite places to eat in the city. The mana'eesh are freshly made in their traditional oven. Love the lahem bi ajin, the seasoning on the meat is perfect (one of the best I've had & comparable to Lebanon). The classic zaatar is great with vegetable toppings. I took a manoushé for takeout, so I can't say about dine in experience. However, I have eaten an unspeakable amount of manoushé in Montreal, & I can confirm this to be a top choice. The labneh is simply incredible, you'll want to bathe in it. If you're lucky, get their halva brownie & go straight to heaven. Trust.View more

Absolutely recommend the chicken/cheese manouché, it's very similar to a shawarma but unique enough to be worth the trip ! Definitly try the rose & pistachio cake 🩷. The only items that dissapointed me a little were the halva & cardamom lattes which were good but both lacked their respective tastes, but this is still definitely a cafe you should come try ❤️!View more

Cozy & very clean. Such great service. The Lebanese coffee with cardamom was everything my nostalgia wanted it to be. The rose & cardamom cake was as well. The Halva latte was so well balanced. If you don't know if you want sweet or savoury, As a snack, lunch, even breakfast, anything; The muhammara is the answer to all of those haha A must try. Everything is so flavourful I'm a fan of rose, especially here it's very every pallette friendly. Its delicate & floral & very present without being overwhelming or soapy. There's even a little section of specialty groceries, like pomegranate melasses etc that you pick up too. Will gladly come back anytime I'm in the city.
