I've gone several times now- & the only reason I *wouldn't* return again is the children. Every time I've gone, or any time my friends have gone- there's no expectation for parents controlling their children. Kids are allowed to manhandle the kittens, which is extremely unpleasant to watch. Parents are never expected to control their children's behavior- & I've had young kids crawl under my table & practically upskirt me- or have had children try to play on my table while I have food & drink. I would return if ANYTHING was done about this.View more
Nice concept but implemented not in the best way. Children poking & stalkering cats, parent & staff not giving a s*t about it but when my wife tried to take on her lap a cat that came to her & rubbed its head against her leg - staff suddenly appeared & asked her not to. Whether it's one law for everyone or no laws at all 🙂 Noise level is also above average with all those kids & on Sunday noon. Nice experience to have just once.View more
I decided to go alone & I did not regret it, I had a great time with cats, they are active & welcoming, the stuff is friendly & answers children questions. I will definitely visit them againView more
Good potential. Decent food & coffee. I wish they had more older cats who were actually friendly & cuddly. I also wish they had someone supervising the main area as well. There always seems to be loud children chasing the poor kittens everywhere.View more
The staff love cats & good coffee. I also love cats & good coffee. It's a delightful place to be. They also have books, a play area for kids, amazing cat furniture, & really good meals. I love the curry! The only drawback is that it is sometimes too popular & either gets packed or has several children being a bit loud. Staff do a great job managing this & making sure the cats have a quiet area so that they avoid stress. I recommend coming here later in the evening on weekdays to avoid the big rush. :)View more
I really like this cafe, the food is good & I like that the cats are adoptable & have places to be away from people. But I truly wish parents stopped letting their kids run around like it's a daycare & supervise their children when interacting with the cats! Picking them up when they seem stressed, crawling under other people's tables. I wish the staff had a sign up explaining it's not a daycare & to supervise your children, the poor cats. If you are a parent reading reviews & planning to bring your children here please teach your children boundaries on respecting animals, that includes young children ages 5-6. So many parents don't seem to even look over to what their children are doing or if they do they seem to think it'd alright for their child to grab at kittens. I've seen kids corner some of the cats even, that's horrible! I've seen others say children had sat & stepped on their things & I had the same happen to me too. I've never seen parents let their children run around like this in any other restaurant including other cat cafes. "Child friendly" doesn't mean it's an indoor play park.View more
ive been there a couple times now & i usually enjoy it quite a lot. However, it seems to be a recurring issue that employees do not reinforce the rules of not picking up cats or chasing after them which is very unfortunate. I keep seeing children handle cats in a way that they do not like. They also run after cats that clearly want to be left alone. I understand not having an age restriction in a public cafe, but when the children are making the ground shake & CRAWLING under other customers' table, maybe let's interfere. Also, a mother & her two children felt entitled to come into our table in order to pet a cat that was sleeping next to us. The kids literally STEPPED on my friend's bag while the other SAT on our coats. Additionally, a customer came to our table KNOCKED DOWN our cup just to come abruptly wake the same cat for some pictures. There is absolutely no respect for personal space from some of the customers which makes for an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere. Employees are super nice & friendly. They bring your food to your table even! I really do feel like they should be more adamant about reinforcing rules & making sure customers don't disturb other customers. Oh also soup is heavily underseasoned 🧍🏼♀️ im still ate it but damn 🧍🏼♀️View more
This was a nice place & the cats were lovely. It was probably too busy on a Sunday afternoon & many of the cats hid because of the number of people. I would try to go back at a less busy time. The food was good. I'd recommend the raspberry danish. Many of the children seemed to be pursuing the cats through the cafe to other people's tables which unfortunately made them more likely to run away & hide.View more
