The food is good, but a little pricey for what it is, however this can be explained by the fact that there is no entrance fee & they need to take care of the cats. The coffees have cute designs on them & the cats are quite friendly. The cats can climb all over the place & enjoy it when you play with them. Good spot for cat lovers.

Quelle belle visite. L'excellent service était #1. Les serveuses sont très polies & de bonne humeur. C'est aussi très bien géré puisqu'il y a des fois une ligne d'attente pour entrer. Nous recommandons fortement le cat gentleman, c'est le meilleur grilled cheese que j'ai mangé de ma vie! Les chats sont très mignon & calme, affectueux. Cependant, il y avait une odeur de litière difficile dans la toilette des femmes mais c'est tout ce que j'aurais de négatif à mentionner. Nous y reviendrons certainement 🥰
Initially came here due to a 4.5 star rating but please be wary of what I noticed from my experience from this cafe that I think is worth 2:
1. The cats are almost all asleep (this makes sense because cats sleep a lot so I'm not upset at that since they looked happy) or avoid you most of the time if you try to pet them. So the little cards regarding their personalities don't really match. It doesn't also help when they're rules regarding what you can & cannot do which might not be good for kids that anticipate playing/petting with the cats.
2. The bathrooms smell like ABSOLUTE FILTH. If you have children please don't let them touch anything in the washrooms & have them wash their hands WELL.
I have many friends who own cats & I have cat sit before & never experienced this so when I was hit by a wall of cat piss & shit smell I was baffled because there wasn't any visible urine/fecal matter other than one litter box that LOOKED empty (had the litter without any cat feces in it)
3. The overall place was well lit & decorated but again, some areas/corners reeked of cat piss which leads me to believe that there's lack of proper cleaning by the employees/owners. The odour & sanitation can be worked on considering this place serves full on dishes.
4. I ordered a pistachio iced latte which had ALOT of ice in it in a rather small cup & a hot chocolate which was kind of overpriced for its lack of quality & small size. When I saw the menu I noticed the food seemed just alright but not too worth getting.
5. The employees lack attentiveness. I had to get up from my seat to grab their attention at the front desk where two young ladies were sitting & chatting. I understand that it's fine to rest & chat but not to the point where I had to get up. They're definitely polite so I'm not upset at their attitude but I think if the washrooms reek or some areas of the cafe need attention, they should tend to their responsibilities.
Ambiance chat-l'heureuse pour vrai. Les chats sont actifs & sociable. Accessible à pied à partie d'un métro. Par contre, on ne vas pas la pour recevoir un service rapide. 55 minutes pour un chili végé & 3 grilled chesse. C'était très bon! Je recommande ce super resto/chat & nous irons essayer leurs 2e ☺?☕? 🐱
Assez déçus de notre expérience vendredi matin dernier. Pourtant, ça avait bien commencé, avec un accueil très chaleureux de l'employée qui nous a accueillis.
Toutefois, après qu'on se soit assis & qu'on ait commandé, cela a pris plus de 40 minutes pour recevoir 4 boissons chaudes. Pendant ce temps, une enfant de 2-3 ans toussait sans arrêt à la table à côté, sans se protéger la bouche évidemment, piochant sur le cellulaire de ses parents.
Quand on a finalement reçu nos boissons, une seule était chaude, deux étaient tièdes & mon latté était pratiquement froid.
On a enfilé rapidement le tout & nous ne voulions qu'une chose, partir au plus vite (& ne jamais revenir).
Les chats sont mignons, mais visitent surtout les fauteuils, si vous êtes installés à une table, meilleure chance la prochaine fois.
C'est dommage, le concept est bon, la mission est honorable, mais l'expérience est décevante. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
Great experience! Well organized, especially with their vestibule to take your shoes off in winter. Small but decent menu. & of course, the stars of the experience, the cute kitties. They have about 6-7 cats & i think we saw at least 4-5 of them. The staff is very attentive not just to customers but ensuring all is well with the cats. You don't feel rushed, stay as long as you want. Only two tables have couches, wish there were a few more. Will be back for sure!!!
Other reviews are saying that it's overpriced, but that's not true at all unless you compare it to somewhere like Tim Horton's. The prices here are normal for a café. Especially one that needs funding to care for live animals.
As for the food & drink, personally I didn't find it to be the most flavorful. Except the salad dressing. That was delicious. But it's okay because I came here for the cats.
There were many cats. They were all chill & adorable, some napping & some interacting with customers. The best places to sit if you want a cat's attention is on one of the sofas.
