Unique. Interesting. The kids loved it (I don't think I say the cats loved the kids) & no, there's no cat smell. My kid is alergic to cat's fur & she didn't have any problem.

Service mauvais & long. On n'est jamais venu nous voir pour savoir si la nourriture était ok. La fille a oublié notre dessert alors que ça faisait 30 minutes qu'on attendait... On lui a demandé de l'eau 2 fois sans qu'elle viennes.La prise de commande a été longue aussi. Il n'y a pas d'air climatisé,on est mieux dehors qu'à l'intérieur. Je ne reviendrais pas. Clairement ,le service à la clientèle est à revoir ...
I want to start by saying I love the concept & the mission of the cafe, however I would strongly encourage not allowing children under the age of 10-14 because of the things I saw at the cafe. A lot of parents unfortunately don't teach their children about boundaries with animals. I saw several children pestering the cats, running at them while shrieking & picking them up, along with endlessly following them around & constantly petting them while they're sleeping. As a fellow cat owner this was honestly upsetting because it could result in stress for the cats, the atmosphere itself is loud to begin with, now add kids on top of that. Some cats were very chill & didn't care, but I saw some running away, hiding under the couch & one fell while running up the counter.
Franchement vous avez un concept qui cartonne & c'est sûrement très rentable, vous avez une chance INCROYABLE d'avoir le monopole là-dessus dans Montréal & pourtant c'est décevant, dans le sens ou dans les règles vous devriez ajouter qu'il ne faut PAS parler fort car c'est un gros bordel sonore. C'est ni agréable pour nous, ni pour les chats à la longue. Ça devrait être un moment de détente & pas ultra bruyant. Je trouvais également que ça manquait de chats comparé à la grandeur de la salle mais en même temps je me dis qu'ils allaient dans des endroits plus silencieux. Si c'était un endroit silencieux avec du piano en fond ça cartonnerait beaucoup plus, Montréal est déjà assez bruyant

Always nice to read there with the cats 🥰 prices are fair & they have a few vegan options. Would be nice if they had more tho. They only have a vegan chili & salads. I would add mains or small vegan entrées. They do have vegan milk options. Not a lot of cats when I went, but I know they do work with shelters to socialize cats & put them up for adoption:)
The cats are definitely the stars of the cafe! They are soooo cute & friendly! My daughter was so thrilled to pet Luna & Luciole! There was a line already when we got there around 3pm, but it was worth it. The ambience is very cozy, & family friendly. Kids loves petting & taking pictures with the cats, who doesn't, right?!💕💕💕 & the food wasn't bad. Loved the grilled cheese & salad. We will definitely go back❤ Go check it out!🐱🐱🐱
A great place for tweens who'd like to be around pets more. There is a warm, welcoming vibe here. It's a slow paced relaxed place. The owner can do some tricks with the cats. He welcomed us with one on his shoulder. The cats are pretty & fun to watch. I love the cat teapots & cookie jars on display. I like how the menu is short & simple. We love the banana pudding, its outstanding, & the grilled sandwiches taste good. The cheesecake looked excellent, but haven't tried it yet.
Malheureusement, les avocats du sandwich de ma fille étaient rancis & chaque bouchée était pénible, ma fille & moi avons essayé d'en manger le plus possible mais c'était dégoûtant. Nous avons pris un chocolat chaud mais il était grumeleux & bien sûr, il y avait deux trois poils de chats sur le pain des sandwichs & dans la salade. En plus, ça sent la litière alors je me suis posée des questions sur l'hygiène. Mais bon, c'est un café des chats après tout, alors c'est au risque & péril des clients! Nous serons toutefois de retour car les chats sont adorables. Mais seulement pour un breuvage chaud.
It was a wonderful experience being at happy cat cafe, the cats are super friendly, very cute & very clean, beside the waitresses was very friendly & welcoming, thank you Mary you gave us a wonderful greeting & service. Definitely will be there at my free times it's worth it
