Nice service, nice food. Not a lot of cats. I was expecting more. Everybody is trying to pet the cats & cats are running away from them. Enjoyed my coffee, watched cats & left without petting or playing with them

Loved the cafè. Cats are cute, cafè is cute & the food is good however the management should consider a few changes like waiting time, we waited for 1 hours & 30 minutes in cold outside. The waiting area can be improved or booking table concept can be introduced. We waited for 30 minutes for coffee & chesse cake. If we were served soon, I am sure I would have left in 30 minutes. We visited in the afternoon so cats were sleepy. Anyways I love to spend time around fluffbabies so no hard feelings. 😊😊
Une expérience inoubliable ! Un peu d'attente à l'extérieur du café, mais tout de même acceptable. Nous avons pris café & desserts. Tout était parfait & les prix raisonnables. Une belle sortie originale !
Les chats sont adorables ! Meilleur pain perdu de Montréal & des serveuses super gentilles. Je recommande ! (Je recommande aussi le chaï avoine en bol pour une expérience encore meilleure)

It was a nice cozy little cafe & the cats looked very happy & comfortable. The unfortunate thing is the young children that were running around the cafe chasing the cats as they were walking around the cafe. We managed to pet a couple of cats on the cash counter as we were leaving & they were super friendly.
Nice to see kids so in love with cats. & they can even play with them. I expected not fine cake for such place but i was wrong.even cake is good. This place is so popular people wait to enter . First time & a very good impression.
Visiting from the US, we were concerned we didn't speak French, but the staff was so kind & welcoming! & of course the cats were sweet & adorable. Gustave was the first to greet us. 🐱 The food was delicious, loved the salad dressing!

The Happy Cat Café is delightful. The feline friends are socialized & friendly. The food & drinks are tasty (there are vegan options). The staff is great. There's even a cute boutique next door, where I purchased a whimsical cat themed T-shirt spoofing'Harry Potter'. I'd highly recommend you stop by the café during your next visit to Montréal. P.S. sorry for taking your shirt hanger - it slipped my mind.
Café trop mignon où il est possible de flatter des chats en mangeant! Je vous conseille de vous y prendre en avance car il y a souvent des files d'attentes à l'extérieur du café.

Endroit agréable dans l'ensemble. Les sandwiches que nous avons pris étaient très bons & copieux. Le service est un peu long, on dirait qu'il n'y a qu'une seule personne assignée au service à table. Les chats sont très beaux & ont l'air en bonne santé. Cependant, il est clair qu'ils n'ont pas vraiment envie d'interagir avec nous, & passent la plupart du temps à nous éviter ou à se cacher en hauteur. Nous avons essayé d'en caresser un au début, mais nous nous sommes vite aperçus qu'ils avaient l'air très agacés d'être touchés. Nous avons donc passé le reste du repas à les observer de loin. Cela a rendu l'expérience inconfortable & étrange car nous voyons bien qu'il y avait un certain malaise général par rapport à ce problème. Je pense que le staff le voit, le remarque, mais j'imagine qu'à moins de ménager les chats & de ne pas les faire « travailler » tous les jours, ce sera difficile de régler le problème. Peut être alterner les chats tous les deux ou trois jours, pour les laisser respirer un peu? Je pense que ça rendrait l'expérience meilleure pour les chats, clients & staff.
Une attente de plus de 40 minutes à l'extérieur, on avait froid. Il y avait des tables pour 2 personnes de disponibles, mais on nous faisait attendre parce que devant nous, il y avait 6 hommes qui attendaient une table. Pour moi c'est inconcevable! Le service était très lent. Par contre, la nourriture était très bonne, mais ne valait pas le prix. La plupart des chats dormaient. Petit endroit charmant, mais je n'y retournerai pas.
