I'm not happy with this experience. We are Not gonna come back there. The half of positions in menu is running out. The food is not tasty at all, my biscuit was not enough cooked :( even Coffee was disgusting & the whipped cream was bitter. We saw just four cats:(
This is an adventure mainly for kids & cats lover.
You can play with the cats. It was funny that one of the cat insisted to sit on someone's laptop keyboard.
In my two visits there, there were out of stock from the menu, which is limited to start with (think about a below average coffee shop; not about a restaurant).
The services is ridiculously slow (maybe due to having a small stuff). Price are OK, considering that the visitors are supposed to fund the cats.
The number of the cats is relatively small.
Pretty spacious cat cafe with plenty of room to hang out with the cats!
My son & I discovered Happy Cat Café completely by chance during an evening walk. We had no idea it was even there, tucked away quietly in the neighbourhood. It was getting late, so we decided to return the next morning to see what it was like in daylight. We arrived shortly after opening, & there were still plenty of tables available, giving us a nice chance to settle in before it got busier.
The staff greeted us warmly & immediately made us feel comfortable. They were friendly, patient, & clearly cared about both the cats & the guests. The café itself is cozy & relaxed, with soft lighting & an atmosphere that feels peaceful despite the energy of the cats. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the experience.
As soon as you walk in, the presence of cats is unmistakable - from their playful curiosity to that familiar'cat smell.' I was very glad I had taken my allergy medication beforehand, which allowed me to enjoy the experience without issue. The cats were adorable, friendly, & clearly well cared for, each with its own personality. My son was completely enchanted by them & spent most of the time playing & petting them.
While one visit would have been enough for me personally, my son loved it so much that we've returned together a few times since. It's one of those unique little places that leave a smile on your face, especially if you're an animal lover or looking for something different to do with family.
This is a big decent size cat cafe that I've seen so far.
Several resident cats roaming around & they are pretty relax with strangers visiting them.
Order drinks or desserts.
Love this place. Used to live right beside it. Always fun to go to, great food & staff. When family visit Montreal it's always on the list of must-do experiences! 🩵 We love all the sweet kitties!
