Café Chat L'Heureux is a welcoming, spacious cat cafe where resident cats roam freely and add a warm, relaxing vibe to a cozy space. Reviews praise friendly staff, solid coffee and desserts, vegetarian friendly options, and cats that are well cared for and often sociable, making it a hit with cat lovers and families. The experience is described as calming and enjoyable, though weekends can be crowded and noisy with longer waits for drinks or seating, and on some visits the cats' interaction time felt limited. Some diners mention slow service or variable cleanliness and price, often explained as supporting the cats, while others find the prices reasonable for the experience. A few emphasize supervising children around the cats to keep them comfortable. Overall, Café Chat L'Heureux is a charming spot to hang out with cats and enjoy drinks or light bites, with experiences that vary by day and crowd.
Les chats ont l air heureux & c est le plus important la nourriture etait sympa aussi, le cafe en lui meme meriterait un coup de peinture. Rien a dire cote service, c etait okay.
The food here is amazing (totally worth the price), & the number of cats is enough that you don't get annoyed but also don't get bored. For cat lovers this is the place for you. They have a second location as well, both are equally nice.
The food is really wonderful & so are the star attractions, the very charming & cuddly kitties. The non-feline staff members are also quite nice. I highly recommend this place
It's a nice spot. There might be a slight wait but it's not long. You just sit & order from your table. I went in for an hour for coffee & a cheesecake & to draw. Staff were a bit slow & I had to ask twice for my coffee. It's a great spot though !
Amazing place if you like cats & yummy paninis. Drinks were good as well! The cats were friendly, sociable, although docile during parts of our visit which is fine (we'd all take a nap right now if we could as well). Would totally come here again!

I had such a delightful time at Happy Cat Café! The atmosphere was cozy, & the highlight was undoubtedly the adorable cats roaming around. I tried their latte, which came with the cutest paw print art on the foam-a lovely touch! The café was clean, the staff were friendly, & the cats were playful yet calm, making it a perfect spot for cat lovers. It was such a relaxing experience, & I can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique & heartwarming café experience!

Amazing experience. People are writing bad reviews & ignoring the fact that unlike other cafes they are not charging entry fee to see cats & be with them.I am from Toronto & came here to visit the cute cafe as i love cats & i had an amazing experience. If you are visiting such cafe's don't expect you are going to get Tim Horton experience. Those are places that serve you pre made drinks & just warm up stuff. This is a local & busy cafe so service is expected to be slow.Obviously there is wait time & servers are trying their absolutely best. I went there & we had to wait 5-10 minutes to be seated as it was full & that's fine we understand. We got seated on sofa & there was a cute cat ( Laila) sleeping over there we petted her & she was just sleeping that was just so adorable. We also ordered latte & high five which was really good. Would definitely come back to this place when i visit Montreal next time. The service is slow so i would recommend people to be patient as the cafe was full & obviously the people who order first are supposed to be served first. I really had good time here & i saw four cats .
I was recently in this place & I didn't like it at all! The first thing I didn't like was that they make you take off your shoes before entering the hall, I partly understand this, but there are no conditions for this, a pile of shoes stands in front of the door, the floor is all wet, there is nowhere to take off your shoes normally, everyone throws shoes on top of each other, I saw a pair of slippers in the entire huge hall. It is cold in the hall, especially when it is -15 outside & you are sitting in the hall without shoes! The place is dirty & dusty, I noticed the glasses at the next table, it feels like they have never been washed! As for the food, we waited for our order for about 1 hour, & these were not some super complicated dishes! We ordered soup & a sandwich, honestly I don't understand why they took so long to prepare this soup, the soup from a can diluted with water & sprinkled with a little cheese on top, it tastes like this kind of soup! The sandwich is nothing special, it is sold with a salad of greens in which I got rotten ones leaves. There is nothing special about this establishment, I only saw two cute cats. Unfortunately, I do not recommend it!
I went there recently & had such a wonderful experience! I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich along with a lemonade! The grilled cheese was so cheesy & the salad going with it was fruity & chewy! Lemonade cup was so cute & staff gave me a to-go cup. About the staff, they were so nice & caring! The cats were so cute & friendly! The merch & overall cleanliness was amazing, if I could give 6 stars, I would!
