I slept on this cafe for such a long time because it always seemed to be too busy to go inside & Omg am I kicking myself for that. Yes, it's busy, with good reason!!
The staff are so welcoming & kind & for how busy it is, that is so impressive; every customer gets their moment & it is so appreciated, thank you!
The espresso is fantastic, from roast to the dial in, it always seems consistent & the barristas are well trained (I've been about 5 times now & I'm never disappointed with the espresso's notes/balance)
The milk consistency is also so so so good, I just had the best flat white I've ever had in Montreal & I've managed two specialty coffee shops in the past 5 years so that's really saying something.
Alphabet is raising the bar for Montreal coffee standards & I'm very excited to keep coming back!Voir plus

The matcha freddo hype is real! This place was packed, but still manageable to get a drink within 5 min. The matcha was slightly watery - def need more matcha powder for a stronger drink, but the foam, oh my! Lavender flavoured foam is spectacular! Authentique & génial ! Alphabet Café est peut-être l'un de mes cafés préférés à Montréal. Tout le monde y est accueillant, & les boissons donnent toutes plus envie les unes que les autres. L'équipe est gentille & généreuse. J'y passe un super moment à chaque fois !

Lovely, I went here with my sisters before a late supper & we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great for reading as well as socializing. Alphabet is an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, everything was warm, welcoming, & beautifully done. Tony was fantastic he personally checked in with us, offered great suggestions, & made the experience feel genuinely special. The service was top notch, & every drink we had was spot on. The atmosphere was elevated even more by the modern Greek music playing in the background such a cool & unique touch that made the space feel vibrant & relaxed at the same time.
