The food was great, & the service was amazing.
The only thing that ruined my time was that there was another guest who thought that the public space was her own personal place. She had the nerve to bother other patrons who were sitting down, asking them if they were done. Then, once she did get a place to see othside on the terrace, she decided that she needed to remove her shoes & actually take a chair from another table to put her feet up. It really ruined the whole experience of being there.
Pub très fréquenté du quartier. Accueil courtois. Tout comme le service. Il faut vous attendre à une salle à manger très bruyante. Bel ambiance. J'ai trouvé le choix de bières limité pour un pub. Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, nous avons vécu une expérience en 2 temps. Le poulet était bien apprêté, alors que la boulette du burger était brûlé. Probablement oublié sur le grill. Un restaurant ne devrait pas servir ce type de nourriture.

Paloma tasted like water, place was empty & took a very long time to get serve, maybe cause we were sitting inside & the terasse was open... but still, service was bad.
They take down your name so if you move around or want to order another drink they can just refer to the list. Amazing idea! I don't understand how I've never seen this before!
Très belle découverte . Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement . Le personnel est sympathique . & la nourriture est excellente .Je le recommande sans hésitation

Nous étions 4, le fish & chips étaient extra. Les gnocchis au porc effiloché étaient délicieuses. Bravo, ce fut une belle expérience. J'ai apprécié que la jeune hôtesse nous parle en français.
Our group of 10 were celebrating the birthday & life of a good friend who had passed away a couple of months ago. We had a private alcove room on the main floor that totally suited our needs. Staff service was excellent & food was delicious. Would definitely consider Burgundy Lion for future event bookings.

Hosted a 40th birthday party in the tea room. Beautiful atmosphere. Service was very friendly & helpful, & even very patient with the children. Service was a little bit slow but over all very happy with the event!
It was my first day in Montreal & I was exhausted & hungry at the end of the day. The staff were so welcoming & the Burgundy Lion ale beer & Croquet Madame were so comforting to me. I liked the ambience & the music too. Thank you!

I organized a group dinner for about 25 people & Nancy was fantastic to work with, from coordinating the menu to flexibility on last minute numbers. Food was yummy & servers were great. It got a bit noisy as the evening wore on but that was to be expected when the Stanley cup finals are on.
We had Bangers & Mash, Scotch Egg & Chicken Tikka Masala. BL is my go-to pub & I think that was the best Bangers & Mash I've ever had. In fact I'm still thinking about it!
