Inventive flavours well presented by incredibly nice, sincere folks. Loved it! Newly meatless so amazing to have such a flavourful Fiancé salad & my companion had spicy Shitake fried chicken (vegan) sandwich & loved it. Thanks all!

Excellent vegan place with many gluten-free options & tasty dessert. Super friendly staff, super tasty salmon alternative, which is actually gluten-free. We came here 3 times, each time it was super tasty. The washrooms could be a bit cleaner though.

I wander through Montreal once a year, & always make a point of coming here for dinner... The kimchi fries are excellent, & the OG fiance burger is fantastic.
Amazing food! Bought the truffle burger & upgraded the side to truffle fries (we really like truffle lol). The fries themselves were a little soggy & not crispy BUT maybe it's done on purpose because the flavours were superb. I used the fry to'wipe' around the bowl to catch as many grain of goodness. Don't think you can do that with a crispy fry.
Washroom facilities were shockingly warm, but we weren't there to stay in their washrooms so it didn't matter. Just something that stood out.
This was $22. I was so excited to try this place after seeing the reviews & photos. Walked 25 minutes in the heat wave today to get there. They ran out of gluten free buns & when they said a lettuce bun, I thought it would be an iceberg lettuce like other places I've been to. It was two pieces of lettuce that got soggy & I had to use a knife & fork trying not to get the paper from the basket on it. But they served it in a basket so it was difficult to cut. The waffle fries were cold. I was really hungry so took what I could get.
Super disappointed after having high expectations & paying a lot.
The servers were very friendly.

Food is ok, but nothing extraordinary. The burger was really nice & well cooked, but the fries were overcooked, it felt like they were twice in the oil (& you can see it in the photo).
Service is less than average: it took them more than 5 minutes to give me a table when there was plenty of them free. Plus, I had to ask multiple times to get ketchup & the bill. & the attitude was not warm or kind at all. I think only the manager did the effort.
One of the best burgers I've ever had. & I've had many! This place ranked in my top three:) I took the old style (can't fully remember the name) burger - amazing, & the kimchi fries were good, though the onion rings were the best. Highly recommend & I will be coming back for their juicy & flavorful burgers
The truffle burger was really good, except the fries were a little overcooked. The price for the burger was maybe a little expensive, but it was one of the best vegan burgers I've had. The vanilla milkshake was good as well, but was a little smaller than expecting for $10.
The kale Caesar salad was amazing! So were the kimchi waffle fries. The burger was also good. I'm wanting to try lots of places to eat in Montreal, but will be stopping back here again for the salad & fries before I leave.

I have to say the burger was one of the best vegan burgers I have ever had, & I have had some amazing ones. All the dishes I tried were super tasty. Service was great & everyone was super friendly & attentive. I wish I lived in MTL because I would be there at least once a week. A++
Burgers were good. Fries were cold. Service was pretty bad. Took forever for them to bus a table just so we can sit down. Prices are pretty high as well.
The burger was mind blowing. Not kidding. The pulled « pork » burger was one of the yummiest I've had, the'I want this at my wedding' kind of good.
The fries however were really mid, & it really hindered the dish. They had no crisp & were not seasoned, although the mayo was alright. The poutine was also not really tasty. The bathroom are downstairs & were also a bit dirty & icky.
That's the only reason I'm taking 1 star out, but honestly the burger was insane. I do recommend checking it out!
10/10 my favourite resturant as someone who is vegan the staff are nice, great variety of options! nice atmosphere for dine in, food is always still fresh even when you do take out. Their fiance poutine with the mock chicken & kimchi fries are my favourite ! Along with their old school burger & mamma mia burger. Floats are great too

the staff were amazing & very friendly,
the food was 7/10, the waffle fries actually were a great side 10/10,
the shiitake burger wasn't my cup of tea, i think next time, i will try something else.
I was really excited to go to Burger Fiance & try their burgers. We placed an order for vegan classics poutine (11$) , fiance burger (22$) & vegan sundae (12$).
Regarding food, I liked the burger, I mean it was of good size & had many things in it , I loved that they had onion ring in it & it was decent. But, the fries accompanying the burger were really greasy & they made me full, I just feel like they can be made better. Classic poutine was an average dish, it didn't sit well with my taste pallet. Loved, vegan sundae, it's really hard to find vegan vanilla ice cream usually & felt so good to have it.
About Ambiance & decor, it's cute & inviting I must say. They had outdoor seating as well. Music is good. Toilet were clean & they are in basement.
About service, I honestly felt that they treated us very differently. They didn't let us sit for long time even though they had empty tables & upon that after we were settled in a table, the waitress asked us to move to the corner table. &, an other waitress took our order & she took it wrong, I have no complaints about it because mistakes happen, I appreciate that the moment she realized it wasn't something we ordered she just replaced it, no fuss.
But, I wasn't given any cutlery or tissues. They just gave to my husband & not me. I was very disappointed with that. I just hope everyone is treated the same.
I am not vegan nor vegetarian but I thought I give this a try. Honestly, the ‚pulled pork' burger was one of the best burgers I ever had. It is not lacking anything & really is a dream. I saw room for improvement with the fries, which were a bit cold. If anyone says vegan food is boring they can be sent here for education.
Wasn't impressed by this restaurant's overall attitude. Would've liked to sit near the window with my partner, but was denied because they did not want to run the risk of not having place for a group of 4. Odd because it was 2:00pm on a weekday, rainy grey day with 1 person eating in the restaurant.
The interaction was unpleasant, probably a power trip. I've been a waitress before & know it is preferable to seat people near the windows to make the restaurant look appealing. Such a damper on my experience that I would probably prefer to go to another veggie friendly restaurant while I am in the old port next.
Kimchi fries are really flavorful as expected & the burger has a really nice taste too.
The only minor thing I personally felt was that it was a little greasy for my taste. Both, patty in the burger & fries. But as I said the test was really nice & so was the atmosphere & service.
