The biggie at the cash registers lack of professionalism is concerning. Saw him sneaking meat off the brochet with unwashed chubby hands. Please take the matter into consideration. Feed or fire your staff if necessary, he seemed rather hungry & concerned with the chicken instead of the customers… This large bearded man was more invested attempting to get young girls attention rather than taking their orders. Hungry for food & women at the same time is not okay. Should not be employed. Heard staff calling him Wallel, something like that, hopefully this helps.
This is literally one of the best tasting halal shawermas I've ever had. I asked for a spicy chicken shwarma wrap & it's so 👏🏻 good 👏🏻 & the staff are just the sweetest people with amazing smiles. Wishing them all the best
First time visiting Montreal & spent the whole day exploring the city-fun but definitely exhausting. I stopped by this place for a quick bite & ordered a shawarma wrap & some chicken on fries (wedges). The service was super kind & fast, which I really appreciated after a long day.
But the real highlight? The food. Absolutely out of this world. Flavorful, fresh, & perfectly satisfying. If I didn't live so far away, I'd be a regular here. Honestly, I might just come back to Montreal just to eat here again. That's how good it was!
Overall , the experience wasn't bad for the price. The portions were actually quite generous, & the food itself was tasty. They did mix up our order; giving us a chicken sandwich & meat bowl instead of a chicken bowl & meat sandwich, but honestly, no complaints there since both were still good.
One downside, though, was the strong smell of burnt oil in the restaurant, which was pretty unpleasant. Also, the place didn't seem to have proper air conditioning, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable.
We were in Montreal for a 3 day weekend, tried a lot of really good fancy food places. But it was Boustan that knocked our socks off. We got a beef shawarma & the chicken shawarma poutine, OMG. We had the smoked meat poutine at Schwartz's earlier & thought that was good, this chicken one at Boustan blew it away. Absolutely delicious. Probably our favorite thing all weekend. Obviously non traditional, made with seasoned roasted potatoes, we asked for extra garlic sauce, to die for. The beef combo was great too, really good falafel as well. We will be back every time we are in the city.
As an out-of-towner, I walked by this place at lunch time & it was quite packed so I decided to stop in. There's like a dozen or so kebab / shawarma places in this 1mi radius so this one got me. I thought it was good. The chicken was delicious, along with the garlic sauce & babaghanoush. A pretty beige meal. I wish I got more veggies. I got my meal at around 2 & was literally stuffed for the entire day, until breakfast the next morning.
The "OG" location - This is by far my favourite quick eats spot in Montreal. The best chicken shawarma I have ever had, & amazing garlic potatoes. Very friendly service as well - doesn't matter if it's been months since my last visit, when I walk in they are already making my order & remember the extra turnips 🥰

Good food at good prices. Friendly people, fast service, indoor/outdoor seating. We ordered a salad bowl with all the veggies. Beef shawarma & chicken shawarma all really good. Would go back.
Coming from Ottawa "land of the Shawarma" nothing beats Boustans on crescent st. Crispy cabbage, flavourful chicken & the best spice hummus mix. Let's not forget the pita was crisped to perfection. Sad to go back to Ottawa & not have this place near me. Great job!
Boustan's Crescent catered for our group of 50 people with excellent service every step of the way. They accommodated vegan & gluten free diners with delicious food! The Shiitake mushrooms were cooked so well some of the group couldn't believe they were mushrooms & not chicken. Garlic potatoes of course are a fan favourite, I will be stopping by for my personal lunches as well!

The rue crescent store used to be good like few months ago. I bought chicken shawarma sandwich today. It was all new people working there. The sandwich was soggy. Potatoes were bit raw & cold.
There's nothing in the world quite like a Boustan chicken pita wrap. I went here as a Concordia student in the early 2010s. Been going for over a decade now. Food never disappoints, & somehow grows on you over time. Highly recommended!
Stopped here for a dinner take out based on review & I was not disappointed! Chicken shawarma platter with potatoes & garlic sauce was on point. Chicken was tender & delicious.
