Way overpriced for a regular Persian menu . There was nothing special in the menu to justify the price. Same food you can get for $20 you get it here for $90 .
Their cocktails has so specific taste that doesn't sit right with the alcohol. The inside isn't fancy or anything plus they have a camel rag hanging on the wall.
5/5 ⭐? Everything was amazing - the food, service, & ambiance. The food was so good & the atmosphere was beautiful. We had such a great time & honestly loved everything about the experience. Definitely coming back!
Fantastic Persian dining experience with delicious food & attentive service. The atmosphere was warm & relaxing, & the space was exceptionally clean. Everything we tried was excellent, but the lamb neck with rice was simply outstanding. Highly recommend for any occasion, including for those experiencing Persian cuisine for the first time.
Simplement magnifique.. quand je vois que certains mettent une note de une étoile, ça me dépasse! Certes pas bon marché mais délicieux & plein de saveurs
I have visited Bous during the long weekend in September from Toronto. In terms of desgin & presentations I would say 10/10 we have tried Tahchin + Barg + Kobideh + Jooje. If I want to be honest with you they have took the persian food mixed it with Italian culture & the result is neither persian or Italian. If you are persian from Toronto visiting there you will be a bit shocked by the portions Tahchin was delicious but is the size of a cookie or Kobideh is like one mini skewer instead of 2 normal one or the Joje kebab is like 3 peace of chicken vs a full 300 gram of chicken kebab or Barg is like mini barg. In terms of taste is close to the original & is delicious I can't argue with that. Overall for Montreal & Montreal vibe I can say is very matching & is very upscale. Is absolutely worth trying & I recommend you to visit specifically if you want to drink & eat is amazing.
The food flavour wise was very good, however Every Single Dish we ordered was served cold as it was sitting out for an hour before being served to us. For the price range that this restaurant charges its absolutely ridiculous to serve cold food. Although taste was good, it's impossible to properly appreciate it as no one likes cold food. Serving meals hot, is the bare minimum. Disappointing.
As a fellow restaurateur in the neighbourhood, I truly appreciate the vision, dedication, & hard work behind BOUS. It is a beautiful & thoughtful addition to Montreal's dining scene, presenting Persian cuisine in a refined & contemporary way while remaining connected to its roots.
With my background in architecture, I particularly appreciated the design, atmosphere, & attention to detail throughout the space. We had a very enjoyable evening , the dishes were thoughtfully presented, the flavours offered an interesting contemporary take on Persian cuisine, & the hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome.
It was also wonderful to see the passion & commitment that the founders & the entire BOUS team have put into bringing this ambitious project to life. I genuinely believe that when passionate & talented people raise the standard of Persian cuisine in Montreal, the entire community benefits.
Wishing the BOUS team continued growth & great success !
The food & service was pretty good.
But it's extremely overpriced. Most of the Iranian foods are being served either with rice or bread. Interestingly, they were serving rice or bread as an extra for all the foods which I really didn't like this concept for an Iranian restaurant.
Overpriced & underwhelming. The location is prime, the interior seems cute. I was expecting so much better food for this price point. Service was kind.
A truly elevated experience! Every detail from food, plating, serving & even the interior design details was meticulously thought through! It's not your usual Persian restaurant, it was next level.
