The owner, Mr. Hamed, was equally exceptional-an extraordinarily gracious, generous, & attentive host whose kindness & hospitality were truly remarkable. His personal attention made us feel not merely like customers, but like cherished & distinguished guests. The cuisine itself was nothing short of spectacular. The kashkeh bademjoon, koobideh, & albaloo polo were masterfully prepared, exquisitely flavorful, & deeply satisfying. Even the white rice was extraordinary-delicately fragrant, flawlessly cooked, & irresistibly delicious. Every dish showcased an unmistakable dedication to authenticity, superior quality, & culinary excellence. We are visiting from Boston, & this remarkable restaurant has unquestionably become one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Recently tried BOUS & genuinely loved the experience. The food, the staff & all the little details made the night feel really special. & the saffron martini is an absolute must! Such an elevated take on Persian cuisine that gave me a whole new appreciation for its flavours. Can't wait to go back.

The food quality, service, & ambiance are truly second to none. The restaurant manages to be beautifully elegant & sophisticated while still feeling warm, genuine, & wonderfully authentic,a combination that is very hard to achieve. Every detail felt thoughtful, & the entire experience was memorable from beginning to end.
Bous has easily become one of our favorite Montreal discoveries, & we will absolutely return.

From the moment you cross the threshold, you realize this is not just dinner; it's a masterclass in hospitality, atmosphere, & authentic Persian gastronomy.
The Atmosphere & Vibe : The venue itself is nothing short of magnificent. BOUS strikes a rare, delicate balance between modern elegance & deep-rooted cultural tradition. With its breathtaking decor, soft ambient lighting, & mild, carefully curated background music, the room wraps around you like a comforting embrace. The crowd is vibrant yet refined, & the energy of the space makes you feel entirely worlds away from the downtown core.
Our Prelude with Sensory Cocktails : We kicked off the evening with their custom cocktails, & what a sensory blast it turned out to be. Crafted with remarkable precision, the drinks layer floral notes, vibrant citrus, & Middle Eastern spices in a way that wakes up the palate & sets an elite tone for the courses to follow. Paired with a stellar, well-chosen white wine, every sip felt deliberate & sublime.
Our Feast of Flavors : When it came to the food, the kitchen team pulled off an absolute show of culinary mastery:
Appetizers: We began with the Kashk-o-Bademjoon (smoky, luscious eggplant paired with fermented yogurt, crispy onions, & mint), complemented by cooling Maast-o-Moosir. It was rich, earthy, & deeply comforting.
Our Mains: We went all-in, treating our table to the iconic Tahchin (a striking, golden layered saffron rice cake that was cooked to absolute perfection), alongside succulent, expertly grilled Joojeh & Barg kebabs. Every single dish was anchored by clouds of fragrant, premium saffron rice.
Our Grand Finale: We somehow found room to top it all off with Faloodeh; a sweet, textural, rosewater-infused delight that left us saying'ouch' to our waistlines, but smiling from ear to ear.
The Service : Beyond the food & the stunning room, the service was handled with a level of care & attentiveness that is increasingly hard to find. Our waiter navigated our experience with genuine warmth, guiding us effortlessly through the menu & making sure every detail of our evening was cared for.
Our Final Verdict : We went looking for a good meal & accidentally discovered one of the absolute brightest culinary gems in Montreal. BOUS is a triumph from start to finish. Exceptionnal by all means :)

The presentation of each dish is stunning & refined, but what I appreciated most is that the food stays true to its Persian roots. It's a modern interpretation of authentic Persian cuisine without losing the traditional flavors.

A truly memorable experience at Bous. A beautiful new concept that brings Persian cuisine into a contemporary fine-dining setting. The design is stunning, with incredible attention to every detail, from the plates & tableware to the elegant décor. We loved hearing that some of the furniture was brought from Iran during such a challenging time, making the space even more meaningful.
The hospitality was exceptional. Our host was warm, knowledgeable, & explained every dish with such passion & care that it made us feel proud to see Persian cuisine presented so beautifully. We highly recommend the Sofreh experience, with its shared appetizers & main dishes that create a wonderful connection around the table.
