The atmosphere at Bous Restaurant was absolutely amazing. The decor is elegant & beautifully designed, with modern interpretations of traditional Iranian elements that give the space a unique & sophisticated feel.
The food was also excellent. You can really taste & experience the flavors & essence of Persian cuisine, while still enjoying a modern presentation & dining experience.
Montreal definitely needed a Persian restaurant like this. The prices are a little higher than average, but considering the beautiful atmosphere, thoughtful design, & overall experience, I think it's worth it.
One of the most immersive Iranian culinary experiences I've had in Montreal. The service was absolutely amazing. We were served by this wonderful young lady named Armina, who was so lovely & genuinely made our evening even better. She always made sure we were good & took the time to share stories about her culture & where the food came from, which made the whole experience feel so much more personal.
Everything we had was delicious. The food was full of flavour, the meat was so tender, & everything was beautifully done. & that's not even mentioning the desserts, which were amazing as well. They also have a great selection of wine, & I got the chance to try a few.
I honestly loved my experience here & would come back without hesitation. Such a beautiful restaurant, amazing food, & even better service. Can't wait to come back
We went there tonight for our wedding anniversary & we liked it very much. As a Persian I think we were missing such a nice restaurant to introduce our exquisite cuisine to non-Iranians. If you're Iranian & you want a huge dish skip this place or expect to order & pay more. I was honestly happy with my food portion but some people might find it small. I did like my experience in general, especially the rice was super fresh & delicious. But here are some picky comments for the owner to improve the experience. First please add less butter to dishes that already have fatty meat like Albaloo polo. This was the reason I removed one star. I found it too greasy despite being super delicious. Also please consider adding signs or instructions about how to get from parking to the restaurant & from restaurant to the parking. We had to climb stairs because we couldn't find the elevator when we arrived. It would be nice if the washrooms had empty/full sign so we could know which are empty. If I want to be very picky I would say three washrooms was not enough for a crowded resta like yours. Also if you bring a dish for Faloodeh make sure to include a fork too because Faloodeh slips on the dish & is impossible to control with only one spoon.
I loved the aesthetics of the restaurant & the presentation of the food. As an Iranian, I brought a friend & I was excited to introduce him to Persian cuisine, but unfortunately, I left a little disappointed.
The portions were quite small, & none of the dishes came with rice, which was very surprising for a Persian restaurant. I understand the concept & intention behind Boos & appreciate the idea of offering a more elevated take on Iranian cuisine. However, when you're paying $30-40+ for a single skewer or $40-50+ for a small portion of stew, I think it's more than reasonable to expect rice to be included, especially considering how essential it is to Persian cuisine.
I'm genuinely happy to see Iranian food represented in a more elevated & beautiful setting like this, & I really want places like Boos to succeed. However, I think there are some adjustments that could be made to avoid customers leaving disappointed. I also hope Boos takes some of the recurring feedback into consideration rather than simply justifying these choices as part of the concept. Even something as simple as including rice with the main dishes would make a significant difference to the overall experience & value.
Absolutely loved my experience at this Persian restaurant!
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, & full of authentic Persian flavors.
What I appreciated most was how beautifully the restaurant showcases Iranian culture & hospitality. The décor perfectly combines elements of Persian culture with a classic Western elegance, creating a warm & sophisticated atmosphere.
It was wonderful to see Persian food & culture presented to people from different backgrounds in such a beautiful & authentic way. A truly special experience that I would highly recommend!🍽?👌🌹
An exceptional Persian dining experience in Montreal! Every dish was beautifully presented & full of authentic Iranian flavours. The kebabs, saffron rice, & tahchin were outstanding. Elegant atmosphere, warm hospitality, & refined Persian cuisine-BOUS is a must-visit!
I tried this restaurant today, & I have to say, it was SO expensive! Maybe it's exciting for foreign customers, but not at all for Iranians who have experienced truly good Iranian food. It's also ridiculous that the kebab doesn't even come with rice-you have to pay extra for a small portion of rice, & it wasn't even fresh. Honestly, the food was very ordinary. Way overrated & definitely not worth the price
