Was in the area waiting to meet someone, & thought I would grab a quick bite at this bakery.
I bought an assortment of 6 pastries but they charged me tax. After asking about why I had to pay tax when Quebec has a law that states when you buy 6 or more pastries, there is no tax, the cashier said it was only tax free if I bought 6 of the exact same product. I had never seen this from any other bakery before.
Regardless, the pastries are really expensive for what you get & did not stand out in particular compared to other bakeries. I ended up spending around 41 dollars for 6 pastries & a coffee which is just crazy for mid level stuff.
On top of this, one of the girls working in the coffee stall was very rude when I asked if my latte was ready after I came back from buying pastries.
Finally, there is almost nowhere to sit. Only around 8 seats total. All these factors just left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be back.

Absolutely superb bakery. It's my go-to for all sorts of things, but I'm especially obsessed with their focaccia & their fougasse aux olives. You really can't go wrong with any of their bakery items, & the service is tremendous to boot.
However, I can't really recommend their coffee! Every time I've ordered it I've found it quite unpleasant, I don't really know why. It may be a matter of personal taste, but, with so many other cafés in the area, I wouldn't say it's worth the risk.
ADDITIONAL LIST OF GREAT BAKED GOODS I, A RANDOM INDIVIDUAL, RECOMMEND:
• Carachoc - indulgent & rich, the sprinkle of salt on top brings it all together beautifully.
• Vegan chocolate chip cookie - soft, but lightly crunchy on the inside, evidently made with high-quality chocolate.
• Pain suisse - decadent & sweet, the cream pairs beautifully with their pastry dough.
• Brownie - a classic you can't go wrong with. Really packs a punch with just how rich it is, & the hazelnuts really elevate it.
• Almond Croissant - people already sing it's praises in other reviews, you don't need to hear it from me.
• Flan - whether it's the classic, pistachio or the vanilla flan, they're all remarkably good. The custard is super silky smooth.
• Chocolate-covered madeleine - a little pricey, but super yummy. Very sweet & indulgent, while also being pillowy soft.
• Brioche Loaf- TO DIE FOR! It gets torn to shreds & devoured as soon as I get home.
& I wish to give an honourable mention to a non-baked good item: their quinoa salads. Shockingly good!
You can choose to take my recommendations to heart or not. Either way, I'm sure you'll find something you like.
Great bakery the French baguette is authentic there & the pastry quality is very good with a great dose of butter & very well knead you can see that the croissants are with lots of bubble holes which is sign of quality. I also tried the nuts bread with a delicate sour flavor due to their special flour.
I will definetly come back to try some of their cakes too. There is as well as small coffee shop at the back of the shop. The place is quite busy on weekend but the line goes quite fast
Amazing quality of bread & pastries & delicious coffee! The staff are helpful, the owner is friendly, & Lisa (not 100% sure of the name tho') the barista was super positive & helped me pick the perfect coffee for my machine. I love this place. ATTENTION; their focaccias are to die for!
& when it snows or rain or even is sunny outside, sitting on their coffee bar & looking at pretty wellington is a charming plus to what is already a perfect experience !
The ordering system is confusing. The barista asked us to order at a different cash where we can't really see the menu, yet later on took an order at her cash from a different customer. Flan is okay, lemon pie is good. Coffee is a bit overpriced for the size they serve. Overall, average food & slightly below average experience

Great bakery to get coissant, chocaltine (pain au chocolate), pain a raison, & much much more. They have very interesting breakfast pastries & seasonal options like maple pastries. They also have pate & other savory items to create a wonderful picnic, don't forget their amazing baguette. The croissants are very good, crunchy on the outside & buttery inside. The chocaltine needed a little.ore chocolate but it was very good too. There is also a coffee bar in the bakery & a few tables/counter by the window.
Came in for a coffee & some croissants. Got an iced coffee & tried the plain croissant, the almond croissant & the chocolate almond croissant. They were all very good. The plain croissant was very flakey with many layers, you can taste the butter, it was so good! The almond & chocolate almond croissants were very tasty as well, not too sweet with a great texture. The bakery has a variety of pastries & fresh bread. They have picnic benches outside. Service was good. Would recommend.
