A place where it is good to come to relax, at any time of the day of 7 @ 7 and 7/7. A bakery - Coffee bar - Urban cafeteria created by two passionate friends, Riccardo and François.
Overall, Boulangerie Le Toledo is seen as a vibrant bakery with a large and evolving selection of breads, pastries, and a small cafe where both savory and sweet options shine; many reviews praise the freshness and quality of items like focaccia, fougasse, croissants, brioche, and the almond croissant, and bread is repeatedly described as standout while the coffee is solid. The pastry case draws compliments for rich fillings and buttery textures, though a few experiences note issues such as a galette des rois tasting frozen or a pastry dough that seems short on butter, and some croissants with a firmer texture rather than the hoped flaky bite. Service is frequently described as friendly and attentive, with a warm vibe and quick service, yet a couple of comments point to occasional rudeness at the coffee counter and to busy weekend crowds with limited seating. Vegan and seasonal offerings are a plus, including vegan cookies, bowls, and a vegan BLT, and there are consistently praised breads like rye and sourdough and the signature baguette. While prices are sometimes cited as high for the value, many feel the quality and freshness justify it and keep customers returning for bread, pastries, and a reliable coffee fix.
Best patisserie on town, I always go there when I am in the area. Patriarchal bread, crounuts, patisserie
cigars are a must.Their baguettes are excellent.
Service was ok, I felt i was disturbing the seller with my choices of bread. No smile. The person that served me at the counter was friendly. I had the patriarchy & the'to die for' loafs. They were tasty but not what I expected. Prices were fair.

Beautiful bakery with so many yummy options! There's new focaccia every day & they have so many options of bread & pastries to choose from. If you're in the mood for savoury or sweet, there's so many options to try! We had the genoa focaccia 10/10 recommend, really big portion sizes & was a great texture. They also have a cafe so you can get a full breakfast or even pop by for some caffeine to get through the day. I will definitely be coming back there was so much variety I need to try more!
Give this place a miss if the idea of lining up for bread in postwar current-day Canada doesn't float your boat. The bakery in the old bank up the street will set you up with some awesome product within minutes & you'll be home for Christmas.
Hidden Treasure in the City. I can't say they have the best bread in the city but Zi can say that all of their bread is superb, it's all sourdough, they have eccletic taste, such as miso baguette, exquisite pastries & gourmet smoked salmon sandwiches to go & a fantastic barristo bar & the ambiance is laid-back Wellington. Can't beat it.
Great bakery the French baguette is authentic there & the pastry quality is very good with a great dose of butter & very well knead you can see that the croissants are with lots of bubble holes which is sign of quality. I also tried the nuts bread with a delicate sour flavor due to their special flour.
I will definetly come back to try some of their cakes too. There is as well as small coffee shop at the back of the shop. The place is quite busy on weekend but the line goes quite fast
Amazing quality of bread & pastries & delicious coffee! The staff are helpful, the owner is friendly, & Lisa (not 100% sure of the name tho') the barista was super positive & helped me pick the perfect coffee for my machine. I love this place. ATTENTION; their focaccias are to die for!
& when it snows or rain or even is sunny outside, sitting on their coffee bar & looking at pretty wellington is a charming plus to what is already a perfect experience !
I've posted this before as noticing that the staff do not wash their hands after touching cash & the register.
A couple of weeks ago I was served by a girl who proceeded to go to the register with her gloves on, take my money punch everything into the register.
& then go with the same dirty gloves touching bread & pastry & serving other customers.
The manager responded to my text saying that the girl changed her gloves but I didn't see that.
Well I beg to differ....
Today I walked into Toledo picked up my favorite bread.
The girl that served me had no gloves on, she went to the cash register took my money punched everything into the register.
& then proceeded to go & touch a whole bunch of bread along with another colleague of hers who just did the same thing with no gloves at the cash register. I pointed that out to the both of them. Only the girl apologized for not doing so. The guy just gave me a dirty look.
So a note to everybody. Whoever serves you ask them to wash their hands before they serve you.

I tried their Macchiato & it was amazing. Their Mochaccino is amazing if you like the chocolaty flavour. The focaccia bread was pretty good too. Also, their vegan cookie is delicious.
Love this place, the vegan options they have might be few (in terms of food) but they are delicious! Thank you so much for the delicious tempeh sandwich while it lasted (I assume it's been replaced by the new vegan blt) & I'm really happy with the new vegan blt that you now offer! Absolutely delicious :)
The vegan quinoa bowl is simple but so tasty! Thank you so much for this recent addition ❤?
I hope to see more vegan patisseries over time but for now the carrot cake & chocolate chip cookies will do :)
Bread is always delicious & changing with the seasons, & most are vegan also!
I come regularly & don't plan on changing that anytime soon :)

Most bakers in North American can't get rye bread as good as in Germany. This bakery does it all. The rye bread, the traditional French baguette & the pastries are all amazing. Even my German girlfriend who is a bread snob approves!
Got the orange hot chocolate, brioche du carême, & gluten-free chocolate chip cookie.
Hot chocolate: This was so good! The orange flavor came through, & the hot chocolate itself was thick with a strong semi-dark chocolate flavor.
Brioche du carême: This was just average. Nothing really stood out about this. I could skip it.
Cookie: This was yummy! It was crispy on the outside, but more bready than that of a normal cookie on the inside. Solid cookie overall, even though it's not your traditional cookie.
There wasn't anything from here I'd really crave, but it hits the spot if you want quality bread or desserts. Would definitely grab one of their drinks if I pass by though.
