Mérite une étoile Michelin à mon avis. La bouffe est extraordinaire avec le pairing de vin est fantastique! Que dire du service? Impeccable! Atmosphère est incroyable! J'ai mangé dans plusieurs restaurants étoilés de Michelin …. alors c'est les mêmes standards!

Delicious 4 course + amuse bush lunch. All courses are artfully presented & burst with flavor. Service was attentive, personable & informed. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Aujourd'hui, je laisse un commentaire sur le restaurant Bouillon Bilk, chose que je fais rarement. Il fallait absolument que je partage avec vous mon appréciation plus que favorable quant à ce restaurant.
Tout d'abord, par un beau vendredi midi, notre groupe de 4 personnes avons choisi la table d'hôte, précédée d'excellents cocktails.
Du début à la fin, nous avons, de façon unanime, été conquis par la qualité des produits, la finesse de présentation des plats, le service professionnel & courtois, le choix des vins, l'ambiance & les prix très raisonnables.
Pour toutes ces raisons, je recommande fortement ce restaurant !
Lundi 6 avril nous avons choisi le menu 8 services avec le pairage des vins. Ce fut une expérience sensorielle hors de l'ordinaire. Les plats sont exquis & le choix des vins plus que parfait. L'explication des produits servis par les deux serveurs-sommeliers très compétents a contribué à l'expérience. Belle ambiance & timing entre les services parfait. L'accueil du maître d'hôtel a été également le chaleureux. Je recommande vivement.
Excellent tasting menu with well balanced flavours. Dishes were elegant, light & refreshing. This was probably my favourite restaurant I tried in Montreal & one of the few where the sauces on the food were not too salty! The cocktails were excellent as well. They also have a non-alcoholic drink pairing with the tasting menu which sounded very good, but I did not try it. Highly recommend.
Expérience plutôt mitigée au Bouillon Blik. Nous avons pris le menu dégustation : les plats sont assez ordinaires. On ne ressent pas de travail poussé, ni de prise de risque, ni de réelle harmonie des saveurs. Ça se mange, mais ça ne marque pas. À l'exception du dessert, très réussit !
Le rapport qualité-prix est décevant dans ce contexte. Le cadre, peu chaleureux, n'apporte pas non plus à l'expérience, pas plus que le long service entre chaque plat.
À noter que les plats à la carte sont peut-être plus aboutis. Au final, une adresse correcte, mais que nous ne recommandons pas.
Bouillon Bilk is a true gem in Montreal. From the moment you walk in, you're struck by the sleek, understated atmosphere that puts all the focus on the food. Every dish is a surprise, with bold flavor combinations that somehow just work beautifully. It's both refined & comforting. The service is warm & attentive without being overbearing, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. It's the perfect spot for a special dinner or simply to treat yourself to some seriously good food. In short, a must-visit for any food lover in Montreal.
