This was really more than a meal, it was a total experience. Our server was Jason & he was super helpful, knowledgeable & funny! Everyone who contributed to the meal, from the other service staff to the sommelier & the host of the evening.
We chose the 8-course tasting menu with 7 wine pairings & we highly recommend for anyone. They were also super generous with the house made bread.
Une expérience mémorable dont je vais me rappeler très longtemps, un 8 services gastronomique au saveur phénoménale avec un 5 services de vins découverte si vous êtes aventureux comme moi à déguster des vins de régions peut connues! Mon coup de coeur c'est le magret de canard sauce framboise avec petit pois pour une première expérience de magret wow mais tout était sophistiqué & bien apprêté de façon à goûter un mixte de saveur exceptionnelle. Un service hors normes où l'on peut se sentir accueilli & traiter comme des rois & des reines haha sûrement dû au fait que mon signe astrologique c'est le lion puis que j'y suis allé la journée de ma fête en août 😉 Je vous le recommande, faite vous plaisir ça n'a pas de prix ses petits plaisirs de là vie. Bravo à toute l'équipe ainsi qu'au restaurant pour cette merveilleuse découverte
Exceptional foodies experience. The lobster on the 8 course menu is crazy good. All food was awesome. The wine accord was excellent & service is as good as it gets. Highly recommend if you can spend between 500$ to 800$ for a meal with taxes & tips.

An outstanding dining experience at Bouillon Bilk. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious & beautifully presented, & the ambience was refined & inviting. Each dish was carefully explained, which added to our appreciation of the meal & made the experience even more enjoyable.
The linguine was flavourful, although I found it a little saltier than my personal preference - that may simply be my palate, as I am not used to heavily salted dishes. Overall, the quality, creativity, & attention to detail were excellent.
A wonderful restaurant & a memorable dining experience in Montreal. Highly recommended.
Ate at the bar for the tasting menu as a solo diner. Inconsistent is the best word for this place. Each dish either impressed or disappointed. Stand outs was the pasta, but duck was chewy & the fat undercooked. Desserts were one note. I chose the discovery wine pairings & the somm pouring the wine was dispassionate & disengaged. They require a physical card & not tap phone wallet for purchases over $250, which is ridiculous because a tasting will surpass that amount. As a tourist in another country I find it safer to not bring physical cards with me. So they had to do two transactions…it wasn't that they had to do that, it's that it goes to show Bouillon Bilk doesn't think about the experience. I recommend finding somewhere else.
J'y suis allée pour le menu dégustation sur la recommandation d'une amie qui y va souvent avec des clients. Chaque plat était délicieux & bien dosé. De plus, j'ai été bien conseillé par le sommelier qui était drôle & gentil.
We had the 8-course tasting menu with discovery wine pairings & it was 100% honestly one of the top 3 best dining experiences in my life. Food was amazing, Pairings were spot on, the atmosphere & staff was super great! Overall a wonderful evening. Highly recommend it & definitely will be going again. Thank you for a great evening!
Le service était excellent & attentionné, mais j'ai trouvé l'ambiance plus froide & moins chaleureuse que dans l'ancien établissement sur la rue Saint-Laurent.
Nous y étions pour célébrer mon anniversaire &, malheureusement, j'ai été déçu par les plats principaux. Les linguines manquaient de saveur &, compte tenu des prix demandés, l'expérience culinaire n'a pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes. En revanche, les entrées étaient remarquables, d'une grande qualité, & le vin recommandé par notre serveur était exquis.
Le principal point négatif a été le temps d'attente entre l'entrée & le plat principal, qui a été très long. Comme nous avions un spectacle prévu par la suite & avions réservé environ deux heures pour notre repas, nous n'avons finalement pas eu le temps de prendre un dessert en raison de ce délai.
J'ai également remarqué que certaines petites attentions qui distinguaient autrefois l'expérience sur la rue Saint-Laurent ne sont plus présentes. Par exemple, lorsque nous quittions la table pour aller à la salle de bain, le personnel repliait & remettait les serviettes de table en place. Ce sont de petits détails, mais ils contribuaient à l'élégance & au raffinement de l'expérience.
Malgré l'excellence du service, des entrées & de la sélection de vins, je ne suis malheureusement pas certaine d'y retourner. À ce niveau de prix, nous nous attendions à une expérience globale plus mémorable, particulièrement en ce qui concerne les plats principaux & l'ambiance.
