Food did not disappoint & our server was friendly & knowledgeable. Just didn't feel the overall experience was up to the same standard we've experienced at other similarly priced places
My 10 year old & I really enjoyed our food here. At first my son was disappointed with a short menu, but when he finally picked a dish, he wanted to order more ))) I also absolutely loved the scallops I got.
Bouillon Bilk was the first time I ever experience French Food. We enjoyed the 5 course meal with the 5 European wine pairing. The food was truly out of this world, I never tasted flavors like we did. Not only was the food great, the staff were amazing as well. For an upscale French Restaurant, the staff & location was warm & inviting. A must go place if you're looking to treat yourself!
Overall this restaurant was good & the service was stellar. However, the food wasn't very memorable which you would expect it to be for this price. A good restaurant for sure but didn't blow my mind.
I am normally not a big fan of fine dining as I like more casual places. But this place is amazing. The flavors & aroma festival. Very well thought creations with amazing ingredients. Duck breast, ravioli, tuna... All of them are top notch. Definitely recommended.
Simple decorations with attractive lights that make the place elegant & attractive. Ambience is pleasing & the service is friendly. However, it did take them quite a while to serve us our main courses after the appetisers. The food was fantastic. The presentation was gorgeous & they must have used high quality ingredients. The most formidable was the sauces. Although very little, the sauces had a strong impact & brought the meal to another level. Even if I wasn't full, I was satisfied by the taste of the food. As for the prices, they aren't too expensive. 24$ for the duck appetiser, 39$ for the veal meal & 12$ for the peach dessert. In my opinion, the appetiser was good but not exceptional like the main course. The dessert ended the meal splendidly. The peach ice cream was simply incredible along with the rest of the dessert plate.
My BFF's favor French restaurant in MTL. Been there many times, food were spectacular, highly recommend.
What an excellent dining experience! We did the 8 course set with a non-alcoholic drink pairing as well as the Canadian wine pairing. Almost all of the non-alcoholic drinks were fantastic (the mushroom kombu beverage was not good at all however) & the wine was expertly paired. The food was well thought out, beautifully presented, & had great flavours. It was contemporary but had classic but elevated flavours. Service was fantastic & the ambiance was okay. The food was the highlight of the experience, however, we would have opted for the 5-course instead of the 8-course in hindsight. The 3 additional dishes that we got as part of the 8-course were our least favourite (beets, trout, & chocolate). I would come back for a special occasion sometime. Prices are fair, & we left feeling quite full! 9.2/10!
