Finally got to try their 8 courses tasting menu & loved every part of the experience! Service was top notch, absolutely nothing to complain about - thank you Isabelle. My nut allergy was well accommodated. Food was not only visually pleasing but delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh. My favorite was the cappelletti & my husband's was the lamb tartare. They also took into consideration my note & added a candle for my husband's birthday. Very thoughtful. Would recommend this experience to everyone. A must for locals & tourists.
Nice place for a prix fixe tasting menu. We ordered additionally a dozen oysters & it added to the experience. This area was hard to find parking so I would suggest coming 15 minutes early.

I had ordered the 5 course tasting menu + non-alcoholic pairing. The food was in general good. Starting with a small basket of bread & butter, & then came a variety of flavours such as crab, veal tartare, pasta, beef, finishing off with a chocolate dessert. The non-alcoholic pairing was a nice surprise, & the pairings ended up quite interesting from a mocktail, to dashi, to a smoky kombucha. The service was good as well, the servers explained the menu very well, & were very quick about cleaning up the table & preparing you for the next course. The reason I give this a 4 star instead of 5 star is that for the price of the meal at about 200 dollars per person (5 course + drink pairing) I do have an expectation that it'd be not just a very good experience but a great &/or excellent experience. A couple of things stood out to me in this regard. The starter bread came with butter, however the butter was still quite cold (& perhaps a little frozen). & when the butter is that cold, you end up destroying the bread as you attempt to spread it as I did last night. Plus you can't get an even a spread. That was a bit of a disappointing start. I found the cappelletti to be quite salty. When you have a dish like this, & try to get a little bit of everything in one bit such as the cream sauce, the bacon bits, the taste felt just salty (with a hint of richness from the sauce). A minor thing, but I noticed there was a coat check. I'm not sure if it's offered to everyone but did notice some people use it as the service staff had retrieved it for them. I think if coat check if available, then it should be offered to anyone who has one. It wasn't a big deal as I just put my coat on my chair, no big deal. But one of those things where it'd be a +1pt for service if it was offered. Overall, I liked the food, it was good. The service was friendly & fairly fast. But for the price point, I really wanted it to be & expected it to be really great (& I think it's almost there!). Even so, I'd recommend people to check this place out.
Like almost all the other reviews here say, this place is fantastic. The tasting menu was amazing & the bottle of wine the sommelier helped us pick went well with everything. The restaurant is elegant, & all the staff are very friendly & professional.
I had a very pleasant surprise after visiting this cozy restaurant with my fiancee for our anniversary. We took the tasting menu with 8 services & we were blown away by the quality of the food. Everything was flavourful & well cooked. Highly recommended!
Food was so delicious! They offer a very flexible lunchtime tasting menu (you just pay the difference). The vegetarian options were wonderful. Service was excellent. Highly recommend a visit for anyone in Montreal.
I was expecting a lot more from this restaurant. I had the 5 course tasting menu. It started off okay. I was amazed with the ravioli... just wow! Unfortunately, that momentum didn't cary through. The main was good, but the portion was too small & it didn't feel properly balanced. The dessert was extremely disappointing. The ganache tasted like melted chocolate ice cream & the crème anglaise tasted like plain cream. The service was very good. They were kind & attentive. I don't think I would go there again.
Simply incroyable !! Found this restaurant specifically for my visit to Montreal & I am so glad I did! Beautiful artistry in the dishes & the wine pairings are to die for. Wish I had taken a picture of each & every one because I WILL be searching for them. The servers were so kind & accommodating & they incorporated all our wishes into the tasting menu. Cuisine wise, yes, I did feel transported to France. Can't recommend this place enough!

I was not impressed with the food tbh. & the ambiance doesn't justify the price. As other reviewers have said, squeezing some dots of sauce on a few pieces of meat in a fancy plate fine dining does not make. Two stars only because the service was good & the freshness & actual quality of the food was good, but the preparation was not delicious or thoughtful enough for this price point. We ordered the tasting menu.
Tried out the 5 course tasting menu for 105$. The service & the food were top notch. My favourite dish of the night was the stripped bass dish. It was so fresh with the apple & shiso. The apple consume was so tasty & complimented the fish so well!!! The squash ravioli was also yummy! The brown butter sauce complimented the squash filling. The beef dish & dessert was also very well executed. I can tell that each dish was well thought out & meticulously prepared. Would definitely come back again!!
The best dinner of my stay in Montreal, for sure above expectations in every sense.The elegant & minimal decor is perfectly set, the staff extremely professional & kind & the quality of food excellent. The very positive element is that there's a tasting menu & not necessarily it needs to be ordered by the entire table, the other people can also go à la carte. In our case we both chose the 5 courses menu (105 cad) & having one of them with just vegetarian options wasn't a problem for them. Our waitress Isabelle was really good at her job & accompanied us professionally for the entire dinner. We took a bottle of Tempranillo Inniskillin from British Columbia at 75 cad which we appreciated. The quality of the dish was incredible & this place would deserve the Michelin star for sure.
Would skip doing the tasting menu, wine pairing was also a miss. Subpar service, not the most knowledgeable about their own menu & drinks being served. General atmosphere was ok. The veal tartare blew me away, absolutely perfect dish but that's about it.

Service was top notch from start to finish. We had the eight course tasting menu & found each dish to be amazing. The exception would be the burnt onion powder on the tartare cracker. It is still burnt powder, so it doesn't taste good at all. I think they should rethink this combination. I'm not sure what they were thinking of serving that, lol ? Our favorite was the octopus with the peanut humus sauce & mousse. The wine list was on point. I'm still giving 5 starts despite the burned powder, knowing they will take this comment in consideration. Cheers !
