tasting menu(57) wine(56) dessert(47) pairing(41) vin(38) recommend(38) dishes(28) flavor(25) wine pairings(24)I tried their 5 course menu so the review is based on this experience alone: the dessert was absolutely amazing, every flavor & different textures go great together & taste amazing alone. But the rest was just meh. To be fair the ingredients were good & the chef put thought into the dishes. However the taste was just not as impressive. Not my cup of tea. Except from the dessert. If I ever go back it's definitely because of the dessert. (Btw the restaurant is very low key & is a bit hard to find if you use google map. I suggest don't go further since there was a crazy person harassing every passersby in the crossing nearby.)Voir plus
Superb table d'hote for lunch. Great service. Lovely food, delicately prepared & seasoned. Will come again.Voir plus
Everything is great! All the food was amazing but specifically the first course of the tasting menu that is tuna tomato & peach was sooooooo good & beautiful dish that stood out for me from the rest.Voir plus
A great experience with delicious food & friendly service.Voir plus
We did 8-course tasting menu & were not impressed. The meals are somehow dull although the ingredients are interesting. Their younger brother Cadet does a better job at offering a palette of unique flavors.
We don't eat dessert & they were graceful enough to remove the respective items from the menu. Thanks for being flexible!Voir plus
I enjoyed a beautiful lunch at the new location of one my favourite Montreal restaurants. My wife & I chose the table d'hôte menu that offered an amuse bouche of an artfully presented oyster followed by a choice of soup or salad, a choice of main & a dessert. I opted for the chilled cucumber & mackerel soup & beef tartare with frisée salad. My wife had the beet & plum salad & the sea bream in a creamy corn sauce. The dessert was a light preparation of melon & summer fruits, olive oil cake & meringue. The espresso was the perfect end to the meal. We received a warm welcome on arrival even though we arrived an hour before our reservation. The service was excellent, as always.Voir plus
Nous avons prit le menu 8 services à 140$/personnes. C'était délicieux. Chaque assiette est pensée avec soin & créativité.Voir plus
Good food good service, nice atmosphere.
They definitely deserve a Michelin star.Voir plus
First two trips were 5 stars & the third one about 3. The new dishes (fish over gnocchi & veal) were disappointing. Too much salt & sauce but not flavorful at all. The dish for the veal was cold so the food got cold quite quickly. They wanted to remake it but we were already quite full after a couple of bites. Got a dessert for free for the disappointing experience. Though I had hoped I ordered our usual choices instead.
Edit: our 4th trip was pretty good (though I didn't like the ravioli as much. The lobster vol-len-vaut dish was very very good, not sure that was the right spelling though).
Edit: our 5th (& certainly the last) trip was a disaster. The vol-ent-vaut was cold, scallop had about twice the amount of salt compared to previous times. I asked them to redo the first dish but not the second, already too tired to wait. Really really bad food this time. I think on average this place deserves at most 3.5/5. More like 3.Voir plus

Service was above reproach. Very nice atmosphere.Main course of quail was an appetizer size at best. Overall a very nice experience.Voir plus

What a great experience. The food, wine & service were all amazing. We had the five course meal with the wine pairing. Everything was amazing. We especially loved the foie gras & the quail. The wines were all perfectly paired & very tasty.Voir plus
Pricy but worth it. If you want to have a gourmet experience that's the place to go, get the 5 or 8 course meal with agood bottle of wine. Excellent for special occasions, first dates or any occasion where you want to impress. The service is very attentive & the food is heavenly. I strongly recommend!
