La cuisine de Boom J's a été créée en avril 2013 à Pointe-Saint-Charles au 2026 Wellington, Montréal, Québec et a été élu le deuxième meilleur Restaurant des Caraïbes à Montréal! "Goûtez la différence", Boom J's offre la meilleure nourriture jamaïcaine style « jerk » au poulet cuit sur un tambour authentique importé de Kingston, en Jamaïque. « Nous aimons quand les gens viennent ici pour la première fois à la recherche de nouvelles saveurs. » il dit: « Nous sommes un restaurant unique et nos convives sentent le véritable esprit de la Jamaïque dans notre cuisine, notre décor et notre service. » Offrant du plantain jamaïcain comme le Jerk au poulet, du curry de chèvres, de la queue de boeufs, du rôti jamaïcain, le poisson-roi, des galettes jamaïcaines, du pain au coco, de l’Ackee et du poisson salé et bien d'autres plats de l'île classiques.

Roti tasted like chicken broth only... I wish there had been more curry flavour, spices or heat, but it was pretty bland. The meat was good though & cheap.

Curry goat with rice & peas is delicious! The roasted chicken roti hit the spot!! We enjoyed Ting with our meal.

Very shit service it's sad how they make mistakes with your order & when you call back they laugh at you & say it's refined the payment then your asking your self how ? They laugh at you then they speak there own language while you on the phone so you can't understand what there saying then you message the owner on Facebook no answer back sad 66$ into the trash how is this place still open while scamming people like this & the goat was so salty omg was not able to eat it & the roti chicken looked like a whole chicken cooked they just peeled apart like come on ! What pissed me off is that the can't deal with there mistakes !!

Just discovered this place , absolutely love it!!!! Highly recommend. Has to be one of the best spots in the city if you want an excellent & comforting meal. 5 stars & beyond.

Little resto, mostly takeout. Although we did dine in a little bar they have. Food is so tasty & great portions. Low-key restaurant, with great food. We loved it.

Reading other reviews, I must have gone on an off day. We got oxtail, chicken roti & patties. Oxtail had two small hunks of meat & the rest was just fat. The gravy felt like it had just been sitting for a week. Pure salt. Rice felt microwaved. We plopped down over 50$ & ate like 6 bites. I'd like to give it a higher rating but we couldn't eat it. Even the patties seemed like I could buy them frozen & cook them better. Maybe it's seen better days?

Food was very good but the service was very very disappointing. The cashier was barely communicating with us, messed up the order & then when the food was ready instead of communicating that she just knocked on the glass for us to come get it inside. Very disappointing since we like Boom Js a lot… would not recommend going to order or eat there.

I am the whitest person ever so take my review with a grain of salt. I enjoyed the ox tail, sauce was super flavourful & the meat was tender. I had to wait a bit inside before someone helped me but they were friendly so not a big deal. Portions sizes are big as well for the price.

Went to the Jazz festival & saw their food truck advertising the jerk chicken poutine. The chicken was good & not too spicy but the gravy wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese which was still cold.

I love this place. The Jerk Chicken served with rice, beans, homemade cole slaw, fried sweet plantain & their spicy hot sauce is my favorite. I have also had the Roti Wrap & it too is amazing. Fantastic homecooking! Staff are kind & helpful.
