If you are anywhere near Mile End, stopping by Bernie Beigne is non-negotiable. The vibe in the shop is warm & welcoming, the counter staff are always super friendly, & everything coming out of the kitchen is ridiculously fresh.

The Apple Fritters.They are colossal, perfectly golden-crisp on the outside, & soft & airy on the inside. You get actual chunks of sweet apples & the perfect hint of cinnamon wrapped in a light glaze. Calling them'amazing' is an understatement-they are honestly life-changing!

All I can say is amazing. What a variety of doughnuts the apple fritter has to weigh 2 pounds. The bacon maple had at least a half pound of bacon tasty unique & best of all a fantastic doughnut

Wowow!!!! P'tit arrêt impulsif au Bernie Beigne après l'avoir mis sur ma liste depuis longtemps. Les beignes sont délicieux. Moelleux, frais, pas trop sucrés. J'ai pris des classiques Sucre-Cannelle & Crème Boston. J'espère pouvoir essayer le Apple Fritter la prochaine fois, il a l'air sublime. Merci au commis qui ne m'a pas rushé dans ma décision & qui a pris le temps de m'expliquer des sortes que je ne connaissais pas. Faites le détour, ça vaut la peine 🫶

Quaint donut shop with fresh made treats that melt in your mouth. The sugar, glazed & apple fritter donuts are dangerously good. They even tossed in an extra donut, just because. Friendly, welcoming, & dripping with tasty goodness. I'm a fan!

Classic glazed: very good

Bostom cream: tastes like an eclair, quite nice

Biscoff: nice, a bit light on the biscoff flavor

Lemon: quite nice meringue, very soft

All very soft & generous on the filling

Fantastic donuts, friendly staff, & great merch! The apple fritter is about the size of four normal fritters & I ate the whole thing over the course of three days.

Visiting from Bangkok & had to try the donuts here! The donuts here is quite different from what we usually have fluffier, softer, & bigger too! 👌🏻 HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👌🏻
I got a few donuts including the maple bacon & the glazed donut. The maple bacon was my favorite! I love the sweet & savory combo, & it wasn't overly sweet 🥹💗 & of course, you can never go wrong with a classic glazed donut. The staff were also very friendly & even let me try the apple fritter & the cinnamon sugar donut. Merci beaucoup 💗🦭
Even I couldn't finish everything in one day, but they still tasted really good the next day after warming them up in the oven!

Would definitely visit again 💗
