I ordered takeaway tonight from a spot on St-Denis in Montreal & was pleasantly surprised. I went with the large pork wonton soup (10 dumplings) & the hot & sour cucumber salad - all for $17.22, which I found very reasonable for the area.
The soup was flavorful without being too salty, & the seaweed pieces added a nice touch. The cucumber salad was also fresh & tasty, though personally, I would have preferred a lighter hand on the garlic (you'll see what I mean in the photo).
The interior of the restaurant is simple but clean. It was a quiet Tuesday evening, so the small terrace hadn't been set up, which was a bit of a letdown. That said, the service was friendly & quick - always a plus.

received steamed hot 🥵 had to be patient before first bit. Was so excited to eat it!!! You see the soup inside it looks so tasty! I took number 14. the juicy pork & coriander! Soo juicy I have to eat it with a spoon 💁🏻?♀? It os delicious I recommend this place 🔥

Hello everyone, today is January 10th 2025 & I was just reborn. You guys must order at least 2 trays of the sweet juicy pork xiaolongbao ( no. 12 I believe). Eating this prestigious delicacy has truly been a divine & eye-opening experience. If ever your life is crumbling into pieces, just come here & order no12, & let its immaculate juicy & sexy flavors will bring you back to life once again. My friend just said he almost died from eating such juicy xialongbao because it was so delicious. I thank the amazing staff & personnel for creating this piece of art. I thank my parents for their going through so much hardships to let me live & have the opportunity to taste this dish. Thank you
Great restaurant for Chinese dumplings, service was good & quick, the interior could do with a small renovation but food was great. Definitely try the Xiao Long Bao, the soup dumplings, juicy pork was great! Prices are good & portions are filling.
The food was great & the service was really good as well. I got pork & coriander steamed dumplings & they were fantastic & authentic. Highly recommend!
We had to take ours to go because the dining room was already closed, but that was totally fine. These dumplings were so worth the wait. My favorites were the pork & cheese fried dumplings & the pork & leek soup dumplings. We got the curry (I didn't try those) & some chicken ones ( I don't even remember which we ordered), but they paled in comparison to my favorites. I think we would have stayed for the atmosphere if we had been able to. It's a cute little place.
Very convenient place close by to come & eat dumplings. I found the walk here a lot more pleasant as well than the one to Chinatown. Even though they were closing in about 30 minutes once I arrived, they still greeted me & had me seated. I was worried they would try & rush me out but the waitress was quite nice. I ordered the beef & onion dumplings & another order of the pork & coriander dumplings. They give you 12 for about 12.99$ each. Not bad at all! I really enjoyed them as well as they were very delicious & satisfied my dumpling cravings. It was just the right amount to leave me feeling well but not stuffed.
This is the spot. I'm from New York, & I've been touring the states trying different foods. I went simple with my order, pan fried pork & cabbage dumplings. New York used to have plenty of different great little hole in the wall dumpling shops. A lot of them had disappeared, sadly. This shop brought me back, some of the best dumplings I've ever had
I quite enjoy the place! It's pretty small but they have a nice variety of dumplings. I like their sweet pork xiao long bao!! The dough is not too thick & has quite a chew to it!
