Cute spot in Montreal & staff is very friendly however donuts I got with my kids were very oily. The box had stains from the oil that seeped through & our fingers were drenched. The donuts are hyped up & pricy which is fine but they need to work on the oil/grease levels.. it's inedible & you can taste the oil which is the worst part. All the donuts were extremely oily so it felt unethical to pay this much for donuts we couldn't even finish.
Extremely disappointed with their donuts!
I had them yesterday with my friend & was so excited to try them just to know that they all have the same super fried & oily base. They just look cute in their display, but honestly just robbing people's money. Oily donuts they should be called! For the amount I paid it wasnt worth it.

J'ai acheté une boîte de 12 beignes pour l'équipe & nous avons eu la chance de goûter toutes les saveurs du jour. Les beignes étaient frais, 12 variétés savoureuses au moment de l'achat, & les recettes déborde de créativité. Une belle découverte & parfait pour se sucrer l'bec !
These donuts were $5 each which I found expensive; as I was walking out with the donuts, I grumbled to my husband that these better be the the best apple fritters I've ever had.
Well, these ARE the best apple fritters I've ever eaten in my life. There is now a before & after Beigne Habitude. This information is almost a burden. The dough was crispy & airy & light, the dough is also soft & the glaze is perfect. Absolutely worth $5.
Les meilleurs beignes de Montréal 😍 les parfums changent souvent, ce qui donne envie de revenir goûter les nouveautés. Mais même sans ça, c'est toujours bon d'y revenir! Les parfums sont recherchés, sans être trop nichés non plus afin de plaire au plus grand nombre. Longue vie à cette beignerie 🤩 (& à bientôt ☺? ).
C'est juste les meilleurs beignets que j'ai jamais mangé.
De plus ils ont différents types de beignets avec des recettes basique & d'autres très originales. Un coup de coeur pour le framboise & poivre rose.
I'm a big boy, so I'm speaking from experience when I say that these guys make the absolute best doughnuts I've ever had. They're a bit more expensive sure, but they're worth every penny!
Just today I finally got a chance to try their bagels & at the risk of upsetting the people entrenched in the St. Viateur vs Fairmount crowd, for my money, Beigne Habitude has the best bagels in the city of Montreal!

I must admit I was very disappointed with these donuts. They are fresh but the flavours are terrible & too experimental. I bought 8 donuts - fig, lemon meringue, cholate with sesame seeds, caramel & vanilla & didn't enjoy any of them. The donuts are also too expensive.
Every donut place is trying to be experimental with crazy flavours but a well done jelly donut is hard to find. If you like experimental flavours maybe this is the place for you, but if you're looking for a delicious satisfying tasty donut, I don't recommend.
The place is also too austere & there isn't a big selection. The staff doesn't seem excited about their donuts either.
Update: note the reply of the owner who thinks the review is a prank. Confirms my attitude about this place & the fact they don't take critique seriously. Yes owner, your donuts are not tasty & it's not a prank. My advice to you is to take your customers seriously if you want to improve.
I googled'the best donuts in Montreal' & this one shows up... Not disappointed at all. They really have the best of the best! Crazy but amazing combinations of flavors, soft inside & crispy outside... Just Wow!
Beigne Habitude, one of my recent discoveries. The donuts are absolutely delicious, & the cinnamon one is one of my favorites. The customer service is excellent, & there's a good variety to try. A bit more expensive than other places, but definitely worth it. I highly recommend it.
Beigne Habitude, une super découverte ! Les beignes sont délicieux, surtout celui à la cannelle. Service au top & belle variété à essayer. Un peu plus cher, mais ça vaut vraiment le coup. Je recommande à 100 %
