Reviews portray Bei as a standout Lebanese spot in downtown Montreal, with fresh, authentic flavors across wraps, shawarmas, and bowls, crispy saj bread, and generous portions; the beef and chicken shawarmas are repeatedly praised as among the best in the city, and dishes like halloumi, labneh, and za'atar fries are consistently noted for quality and balance; the ambiance is welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with friendly staff and good value including student discounts; while overall experience is highly positive, a few comments mention slower service, occasional miscommunication at the counter, or a safety incident in one visit; taken together, Bei emerges as a top choice for those craving high quality Lebanese food and a vibrant, authentic vibe that invites return.
The chicken shawarma trio with potatoes was a great value. Food was well seasoned, fresh & very tasty. One of the best shawarma places in Montreal for sure. Service was extremely quick. The atmosphere itself was inviting, clean, & comfortable. The upstairs lounge was clean & quiet, great for some quick computer work but there are limited outlets.

I was simply wandering around Montreal thinking about life when I saw the little signage they put outside. I walked past at first & then my little ear told me to come back. I am glad I did.
Fries were crispy & delicious but it seems like the potatoes could be even better. Sorry, no pictures of the shawarma, it is resting peacefully in my belly as I write this :)

I was a good customer of this place. Came here all the time. Went today & saw this hanging. The entire map of Israel covered in red with the face of'fighters' a clear symbol of the annihilation of the state of Israel. Very unwelcoming. They rather make political statements than welcome all clients.
Please read some of the one star comments, the mistake I made was only looking at the overall star value... I ordered a chicken shawarma dinner yesterday. I ate half, woke up at 3 am with severe abdominal pain & nausea, vomiting & so forth. I usually never take the time & review a restaurant, I think this time around I had to. Just be warned.
The shawarma chicken wrap was so good, ask for extra crispy is even better. Needed a bit more sauce in the middle but was very tasty. The French fries were so crispy & tasty!
