Amazing melt in mouth kebabs & super flavourful rice! We ordered a platter for 2 which had 4 different kebabs, 2 plates of rice, humus & pita & 2 soups. The lentil soup had great balance of ginger & freshness of cilantro! The kebabs were moist & fresh with very prompt service. The meal also came with free Persian tea. The only critique is of the female/ladies washroom which was in a horrible condition & the server asked me to use the men's washroom which was occupied & led to an awkward encounter.

Lors de notre dernier visite , j'ai pu apprécier le riz & les kebabs qui étaient bons. Cependant, je me dois de vous faire part de certains points négatifs qui ont terni mon expérience. J'ai été particulièrement déçu par l'état des toilettes qui étaient sales, manquaient de papier & semblaient nécessiter une rénovation urgente. Un tel manquement à l'hygiène est préoccupant & nuit à l'image de votre établissement. De plus, je regrette de devoir mentionner le comportement non professionnel d'une de vos serveuses, une jeune femme d'une trentaine d'années. Son manque d'expérience était évident & contrastait fortement avec le niveau de service que l'on est en droit d'attendre dans la restauration. Dans d'autres restaurants, il est courant que les serveurs & serveuses bénéficient de formations pour offrir un service de qualité, mais malheureusement, cela ne semblait pas être le cas ici. Nous sommes convaincus que ces remarques sont constructives & seront prises en considération afin d'améliorer la qualité du service offert par le Restaurant Iranien BEHESHT. Nous restons attachés à la cuisine iranienne & j'espère que lors de ma prochaine visite, nous pourrions constater des améliorations significatives. It's definitely the best Persian restaurant in Montreal especially for Koobideh kebab. The staff are really nice too. April 2024 update: they have made the Koobideh kebab thinner & juicier which is even better now! see photo
I recommend this restaurant : 1) The service was good, fast, & appropriate 👌 2) The food quality was really good, I can say it was on top of what I expected. However, it would be excellent if the kebabs were more greasy 😉 3) The place is cozy with nice decorations 4) Most importantly, the prices are fair Overally you'll enjoy
I had an amazing kebab torsh here. I absolutely recommend this place. The decor is so pretty & the ambiance is cozy & lovely. I recommend mirza ghasemi, zeytoon parvardeh, mast o khiar, & kebab torsh which is top-notch 👌

Tasty Persian cuisine with variety of Kebabs 😋 We tried family dish for four (Behesht) which had different kebabs, including Joojeh, Koobideh, Kebab Torsh, Kebab Chenjeh, & Chiken Koobideh. The food served with soup or salad, which I think soup is far better than the salad. For appetizer, we ordered Mast Khiar (basically yogurt with chopped cucumbers & garlic) & Kale kebab (smoked eggplant with walnuts & pomegranate sauce) which is a dish from North of Iran, it was a bit different but tasty. Upon arrival they asked your number to text you when they have your seats ready which was a bit awkward & discomforting sharing my number. Also they don't make reservations unless you're more than 10 people. Overall it was a great experience for us.
We took lamb shank & the taste was not great. It was ok. Also felt that it was not freshly cooked. Salad was very simple. The environment was very dark. On our second visit, they didn't bread & butter which was served to all tables. Also one of the server was not friendly, she was looking very exhausted. But the mixed kebab was good.

Behesht never lets you down😍 So far I have had Barg kebab, Spicy kebab & Gheime here, & they were 10/10. The only problem is with service i guess, they have kind staff but they are always runnig around in hurry.
The food was amazing. I loved the barg kebab. After living few yrs in Canada & trying kebab in different provinces ,I can certainly Say that for the first time the food tasted like back home. I certainly suggest this place. Staff also very friendly. Loved this place. The quality of barg was even better than Toronto restaurants.
