Best place to get Indian food for an Indian. The food is not made mild like other places, unlike a lot of Indian restaurants in Montreal. Their Karivepaku Biryani is my favourite. We get it every week!
One of the best Indian Cuisine after a really long time. Most of the menu we opted today was vegetarian & I really loved the food. Karuvepaku Gobi, Babycorn Manchurian is top notch. Gongura Biryani was Yum! The service is excellent & we were able to get appetizers & main course on time.
Mani, our waiter, was really helpful in guiding us in our choices. Biryani portions were generous & tasted good. Lamb curry was also good. Recommend for sure.
I had Nawabi veg biryani & gobi manchurian. manchurian was tossed in ketchup & extremely tangy & not good at all. The biryani had no veggies.. I am not exaggerating, I found one capsicum slice & one floret of gobi. I was so disappointed, I only had plane rice with Salan. I would probably come back to try their dum biryani one time.. but don't have much hopes from here.
Triee the Guntur Paneer Biryani at Bawarchi Biryani Montreal & OMG it slapped! 💥 Perfect spice kick, soft paneer, & that aromaaa 😍 Totally worth it !
Really good flavourful biryanis. They have a good variety too. Service is excellent they catered to all our requests with patience. Special mention of Payal who was sweet
I don't miss home or the spicy food from my homeland anymore because this place serves the best Indian food in town!
I absolutely love their Fish Biryani (my go-to dish every single time!), along with Karakoram Chicken & Lamb Korma - all bursting with authentic flavor & spice.
The staff is always welcoming & hospitable, even during rush hours. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving genuine Indian flavors
The food at Bawarchi was some of the best Indian food we've had on the east coast. We got the paneer tikka masala combo, chicken shahi paneer, & the samosa chat. It was all flavorful although a bit on the spicy side. We'll be back to try the biryani! We waited about 20 mins to be seated but that just proves how good this place is! Staff was very friendly.
It was a great experience. Wait time wasn't much & they managed it very well in spite of the group size being 10-ish. I'd highly recommend Kaaju Roast biryani (it's spicy though).
We recently went to Bawarchi in Montreal for a friend's birthday celebration & had an amazing experience. The Indian food here is truly the best I've had in Montreal.
The Cut Mirchi was outstanding - crispy, flavorful, & a must-try starter. Among the mains, the Kaju Biryani (vegetarian) was on another level - rich, aromatic, & unlike anything I've tasted before. The roti was also soft & fresh, perfectly complementing the curries.
Overall, Bawarchi is easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Montreal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavors & a memorable dining experience.
The food was good! The biryani is really yum. Just the service was a little slow
'Authentic Indian flavors in the heart of Montreal! The food was fresh, well-prepared, & full of spices that reminded me of home. Great portion sizes, friendly service, & a nice atmosphere. Best place in Montreal if you're a biryani lover! Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food in the city - highly recommended

& the service is quick, specially girl name Payal she was expert in explaining every dish in detail, very patient to wait for order & polite & knowledgeable. Thanks Payal for service.we will definitely visit again for dine in
The food at Bawarchi has authentic flavors, especially the biryani which stands out. The menu has good variety & the portions are decent. That said, the service can sometimes be a little slow during peak hours, & the seating area could be more comfortable. Overall, a good spot if you're craving Indian food in Montreal, but there's room for improvement in the dining experience
Bawarchi special Biryani & Hyderabadi mutton Biryani were really good.
The service was average. We constantly had to flag down staff for basic things, & our server never came by to check on us. That said, I don't blame her-it was an extremely busy Friday night, & it looked like the whole team was overwhelmed.
One of the best indian restaurants in the city. It feels like a mix of authentic & Canadian vibes. They have too many varieties of Biryanis & too many other options. Just be-careful, the food is realy spicy.
