We were pleasantly surprised with the welcome by the staff especially Richa..vegetarian & non vegetarian options were good.
Combos work out great...nawab korma was superb..palak paneer was ok so was Shahi paneer. White rice was missing..basin washing place was clean.
Nice décor..enjoyed Indian food in Montreal.

I ordered Paneer Butter Masala & Paneer Tikka Masala. Both had same gravy. I mean one was spicy other one is little sweet. Panner chill was not that good. & the service was bad & the taste was the worst. Bad!

I want to share my experience at Bawarchi in Montreal so other customers can make informed decisions.

We ordered paneer curry with other food items but while eating, I found what appeared to be a piece of meat in the dish. I immediately brought it to the staff's attention. Despite this, I was still charged for the meal.

As someone who ordered a vegetarian dish, I found this very disappointing.This was my personal experience, & I'm sharing it so others can be aware.

Food is really good & staff is very nice & professional. We tried Guntur Paneer Biryani & Veg Dum Biryani. Both had unique flavours & a nice kick. Gulab jamun & Rasmalai is like cherry on the top.

We ordered paneer 65 starter, which was cold, seemed like the chef didn't even heat it, didn't serve it with chutney, quantity was less.
We wanted to order soups along with the starters but they don't have soup in their menu.
We ordered 2 Kaju Ghee Roast Biriyani . To our disappointment it didn't have much paneer only 6-7 pieces max. & literally I could only find 2 half cashews in it. It was such a bummer of an experience food wise. This was our first time & mostly gonna be the last time here. The waitresses were polite, & nice. The setting & ambience was good. But the food was a let down purely.

The food was not upto the mark. We ordered the paneer biryani but did not find any paneer. It was just plain rice without any Spices. We had to leave halfway. But, the servers were good. Hats off to their quick service.

I love this place, feels cozy & welcoming! Their parotta is amazing - even better than naan! Personal opinion, I would suggest more their meat dishes, less their paneer dishes. But, would come here again & again!
