We ordered paneer 65 starter, which was cold, seemed like the chef didn't even heat it, didn't serve it with chutney, quantity was less.
We wanted to order soups along with the starters but they don't have soup in their menu.
We ordered 2 Kaju Ghee Roast Biriyani . To our disappointment it didn't have much paneer only 6-7 pieces max. & literally I could only find 2 half cashews in it. It was such a bummer of an experience food wise. This was our first time & mostly gonna be the last time here. The waitresses were polite, & nice. The setting & ambience was good. But the food was a let down purely.
We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a remarkable culinary offering, specifically the biryani. Our selections included the Nawabi Paneer Biryani, Mutton Biryani, plain naan, & Korma. Each dish was prepared to an exceptional standard, delivering a truly delightful gastronomic experience. It has been some time since I have encountered biryani of such high quality. I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment.

I ordered Paneer tikka masala, Garlic naan & Malbar parota. The food was really delicious. Perfect amount of spicy & sweet. One of the best curry I have had in Montreal.
The food was not upto the mark. We ordered the paneer biryani but did not find any paneer. It was just plain rice without any Spices. We had to leave halfway. But, the servers were good. Hats off to their quick service.
I love this place, feels cozy & welcoming! Their parotta is amazing - even better than naan! Personal opinion, I would suggest more their meat dishes, less their paneer dishes. But, would come here again & again!

The food at Bawarchi was some of the best Indian food we've had on the east coast. We got the paneer tikka masala combo, chicken shahi paneer, & the samosa chat. It was all flavorful although a bit on the spicy side. We'll be back to try the biryani! We waited about 20 mins to be seated but that just proves how good this place is! Staff was very friendly.

Great service great food great staff. We had beer, paneer biryanis, paneer starter. Staff was great & provided great service. The atmosphere was nice. Vibe of the place matched with pleasant ness.
I used to be a regular customer at this restaurant, & my favorite dish was the Paneer Guntur Biryani. However, for the last three times, I've noticed that it barely contains more than three pieces of paneer.
Taste-wise, it's still good, but when you're paying for paneer biryani, you expect a fair amount of paneer not just rice. Hopefully, they will consider this feedback & improve the portion size.
The food was made quickly & tasted great. Had a palak paneer & a lamb korma (spicy!). The seating area maybe needs a bit of a makeover, like chairs with loose legs... but the decorations are nice. Staff very friendly. I would eat here regularly if I lived here.
Disappointing! My family felt sick after eating here even though we don't have sensitive stomachs & are used to eating out in India. The food wasn't even tasty. It was just heavy & spicy. Also it seemed like a south Indian person was cooking north Indian dishes - the aloo tikki chaat had kadi patta & elaichi! The mutton biryani & palak paneer were equally disappointing. The service was good but the food is SO NOT WORTH IT.
