On constate la cuisine transformée en cruising bar sur le party & on craint le repas qui s'en vient. Le steak de bonne qualité a été surexposé aux flammes & goûte uniquement la fumée. Des légumes trop cuits c'est pas bon mais ceux qui nous sont servis sont pratiquement crus & sans goût. Le boeuf braisé est très bon mais la pièce de viande comporte énormément de gras. Le potage parmentier est tiède & la soupe aux oignons goûte seulement la bière & le sel. Les patates pilées sont très bonnes. La patate fourrée toute garnie n'a absolument aucun goût. On regarde passer des cotes lèves pour les autres clients & on regrette amèrement d'avoir exploré autre choix. 1- BR Ville Mont-Royal 2- BR West Island 3- BR Laval 4- BR Complexe Desjardins 5- BR Québec & la margre d'erreur d'un a l'autre est très mince. J'encouragerai encore fortement ces établissements. Depuis le peu de temps que LaSalle est ouvert, j'ai pour la première fois un gros doute quant a la véracité du nombre abondant de commentaires positifs. Il y a une culture ?a cet établissement qui ne ment pas. Je suis désolé de devoir dire ce qu'il en est. Si nous n'avons pas visité BR 50 fois depuis 1992 environ, je serais très surpris. Cette fois ci est la seule visite déficiente mais cette fois c'est peu dire.
Je suis allée pour l'anniversaire de ma maman de 83 ans & j'avais fait ma réservation par internet alors ils nous on placés côté bar sur des grand tabourets & lorsque j'ai demandé un autre place tout le monde a été très compréhensif & au petits soins pour nous trouvé une table ! Serveur hyper gentil & très aimable ! La jeune femme au belle lunettes noirs à l'accueil est très gentille

Food was great, the roast beef sandwich, ribs & salad were delicious. The only disappointment was the potato soup which was very liquid/runny in comparison to the traditional one, at the other locations its much thicker (closer to a thinner mashed potato).
Our waitress in the bar room had a great personality & was great at her job.
Excellent friendly service by Dolljeet, Anthony, & Leena; good ribs, tasty seafood linguini, clean & modern bar & dining areas.
What part of heaven did they find such great people as Marianne ( manager) & server Doan to work at Baton Rouge. Their attention, friendly conversation, & professional service added to our delicious meal. I am, unfortunately, one of those people who takes alot of time to choose from the menu & Doan was patient & polite. I did not see one staff member who was not interacting with the clients with a smile or a laugh. This all adds to the overall ambiance of the place where noise & music levels are are at a pleasurable level. My only issue is that there is only one uni washroom but there is another for handicap or parents use which some of us need for the grab-bars. Will go again, & you should too.

Been twice in the last couple of weeks (for dine in) & service is top notch! Notable staff are Doan & Jair as they were attentive, friendly, courteous & very accommodating. Both made you feel right at home & made sure everything was ok. My greatest appreciation is hot food! Special mention for the manager, Mariann, as she managed like this was her family. Bravo team! Will be back🤗

Went to order some meals for pick up on Saturday evening. Placed look great & seemed busy. Was asked to head to the bar to order my meals & waited a solid 10 mins before my order was taken.
The server, Mercedes, was super nice & said she would put in the order right away & would be 15-20 mins. I understood & stepped out & came back 15 mins later to be told that the kitchen was slammed but it shouldn't take too long. Another 20 mins later & I am standing & waiting patiently & this time Mercedes told me she felt bad for the wait time & that the manager said they would offer me a free dessert. I said it was very kind & not too worry. 10-15 mins later another server comes by to hand me my food & gives me a scratch card. He apologized & said that everyone wins with the card.
I get home 5 mins later & my food was good but sadly not hot (my car was running outside). I never got the dessert but I did win a Coke.
Lesson learned: eat at the restaurant if you want to be served quickly with a hot meal.(A table was sat when I came in & they left before I got my order) Never order at the counter & just pay the up-charge with DoorDash to get your meal.
This Baton Rouge is new to the area & has a very modern feel. The food is always delicious & never disappoints. Our server Doan, was excellent & took care of every last one of our requests. Maybe the bartender was new cause our drinks were just ok, but it didn't ruin our evening. I would definitely go back with my friends & family. Again, thank you Doan!

Mille mercis à Mercedes & Antoine pour votre service & votre aimabilité hors-paire. Au menu, de nouvelles entrées dont la chaudrée de palourdes qui s'est avérée excellente. J'ai adoré. J'ai aussi mangé de delicieuses crevettes tempura bien épicées. Le décor de ce Bâton Rouge est différent des autres...un style "mid-century modern" chic, convivial & aéré où vous pourrez apprécier le mariage du bois pâle & de la peinture bleu sur les murs. Bref, que vous soyez en tête-à-tête ou avec des amis, côté bar ou salle à manger, vous passerai un bon moment avec une équipe BR souriante, polie & sympathique !
Placed a takeout order with the bartender & she was very courteous & offered me water while i waited, very sweet!
Many things went wrong. It started with my reservation. I called to make a reservation at 7:30pm on the same day to being told once I got there that my reservation was made for the following night. I never said it was for tomorrow. The front desk told us we had to wait 30+min since it was full. I looked inside & the restaurant was barely half full. After expressing my dissatisfaction,they offered a table at the bar section. The food itself was ok, not great but not bad either. We had fried calamari, caesar salad & fillet mignon. The calamari was good but very greasy & had a lot of batter. Some pieces were very small & tasted only like overused oil. The ceasar salad was a bit blend, lacking sauce & the bacon & croutons were very not crunchy. The fillet mignon was good but the plate lacked finesse. It looked like a poor deli quality dish. No sauce comes with the steak...... you have to pay extra for it. I mean come on, very dissatisfying to pay so much for a pile of fries, basic grilled veggies & no sauce. Finally the service was very slow. Not because the waiter was very busy but because he was just wasting so much time small talking & complaining himself about how management is not good. We asked ketchup for the fries & while clearly acknowledging he never brought it to our table. We also waited over 20 minutes just to pay for the meal. We saw the waiter talk with the girls at the front desk laughing for over 5min while we were there waiting for that eye contact for the final bill with empty plates. In all respect he was not a bad waiter but just wasn't focused. Over for 183$ for a meal for two it was just not worth it. If the food has better presentation & if the steak came with sauce, & if service was better it could get a 4 star but this was definitely a 2.5 to 3 star experience. _______________________ Update: I would like to mention that management was kind enough to offer their apologies & took measures to make our next visit better. I appreciate their efforts.
