Sometimes they don't cook the food all the way & way too expensive for nothing. I guess it depends on what you're taking , can't speak for all the food.
The quality of the food is not what we expected. The vegetables tasted like they had been sitting in the water. Atmosphere very louder & isn't even lounge. They change restaurants design is sad.
As a pescatarian I am pretty particular about my fish. I am often told that I should not have high expectations at a steakhouse, but in my experience, the chef at a highly rated steakhouse should know how to cook a good piece of fish, especially salmon!!! I haven't been to Baton Rouge in a long time, but if memory serves me, they did make an awesome piece of salmon. Unfortunately, in contrast to my memory, what was on my plate was nothing I was prepared for. When the plate arrived the fish smelled fishy- my first mistake was to not just give it back. I doused it in lemon juice hoping to cover up the cheap fish smell but it ate like it smelled. To top it off there were the most bland vegetables on the plate, a teeny ramekin with a tomato & onion salsa & another ramekin with a very so so sauce. To be honest, I may as well have been eating in a Denny's diner. Oh well, I guess all those naysayers were correct & I might have to up my game & pay a few bucks more at say....a Keg Steakhouse for a better piece of salmon.
We came yesterday for a celebration, service was excellent, food was amazing, our waiter was top notch, not one mistake, always made himself available to us. To bad I didn't ask his name, but he was amazing Thank you for such a great time We will be back
Went there recently to celebrate my father's birthday & were treated like royalty. All of our food was delicious & looked spectacular when it hit the table. Besides that the overall service was top shelf & beyond. When we arrived we were originally quoted a 30 min wait but Mary & Natalie worked their magic & had us seated well before that. Our server ( I feel bad I forget her name) was pleasant, efficient & knowledgeable, made our ordering experience so enjoyable. We had steaks, ribs, a burger & spinach dip. Everyone's food was spot on. Thank you to Adam & Suri Brother & the rest of the kitchen staff as well as a huge Thank you to Dean for making this a great night. It's good to know that a bunch of Scoops can get a great meal here anytime.
