I really like the potato soup, the ribs are great, & the steak. But I miss the desserts they use to have- I think the supplier changed.View more

Hubby & I went during lunch time to celebrate our anniversary. The soups & the steak were excellent. The ribs were nothing special. The mille-feuille was mediocre. Our experience with the staff wasn't very good. Our server was cold, never smiled. She put our dessert plates super fast at the corner of our table & left, like we were at a cheap diner. When we paid the bill, while saying it was all set, she took it fast & murmured a small "Thank you" while going to another direction. No eye contact, no "Have a good day". For the record, we were polite & left a 20% tip. To be completely honest, I even felt discriminated, because the server had a more positive attitude with other tables. At the end, we just didn't feel welcome. So we will go to La Cage next time, as we usually do.View more

The ribs at the bar don't taste the same as before. I've been going to Baton Rouge for many years & these ribs taste like an inferior product.View more

This place gets filled up pretty fast which unfortunately slows down the speed of service, but not the quality of it. The food is good, ribs are their go-to, but their spinach dip is pretty decent as well as their salmon tartare. I also would say to ask for your fries to be extra crispy if you are ordering them as a side.
