The place is nice & the staff are cheerful.
The prices are reasonable & the menu options are diverse, however we had 4 different menu items & they were all dripping in oil, the food would have been so much better without all that oil, it ruined the food. The wines are way too sweat, overall the meal felt gluttonous not refined.

Delicious !!! Dined on my own, a bit expensive but worth it. I had the special shrimp asparagus toast & the roasted carrots (delish) & the piri piri chicken (good flavor a bit tough & I wanted more pickles). Drank a Rosa which was lovely & refreshing. YUM. Plenty of wheat-free menu options (as a wheat intolerant girly myself- went all out tonight though hence the special non-gf toast).

Loved this place! This was my first time & I was very pleasantly surprised by the variety of food & wine this place offered! I also tasted the salmon tartare & finished every last bite of it! Will definitely be coming back this summer.

Bar Henrietta is a nook of security & kindness in an otherwise intense bar scene in Mile End. The food was excellent & the drinks were lovely. We had the gnocchi, piri piri chicken, ceviche, popcorn, & cookie. Highlights were the ceviche & cookie. the cucumber cocktail was amazing. the pilsner is simple & elegant. one of our waiters had great knowledge of the wine which was really nice to see. all the staff were chatty & lovely. great energy.

afterwards we went to get a beer at Dieu du Ciel bar down the road & the energy was so bad we came STRAIGHT BACK TO BAR HENRIETTA.

it is a staple, a miracle. a promised land.
