Food & service were phenomenal. Definitely caters to a younger crowd that's down to yell over loud music (although the music was very good). Kudos to the waiters who somehow can hear your order - superpowers?
Portions were small but perfect, no leftovers had to be brought home!
Not a ton of places to sit, we arrived at 5:30 & all the proper booths etc were already full. We sat at a bar-like area spanning the middle of the space, cute & comfy but also crowded.
Good wine list, we were all impressed with our choices.
Great spot with fantastic drinks! Only problem is their service. If the place is empty, you'll get them fast, but as soon as they get busy, their staff can't handle it (appears to be a common thread based on other reviews) & you'll end up waiting 30-40 min for one cocktail.
Tip: if you're in a hurry: DO NOT ORDER A COCKTAIL, they're incredibly slow... instead order a glass of wine/champs. Or just sit at the bar. Bar service is much better.
Great wine, fun atmosphere.
Seating can be quite tight when busy but that's part of the experience.
Great space in one of my favorite spot in Montreal. The wine selection is great, the servers knows their wine & service is very pleasant
Absolutely a must-visit in Montreal. We came for an early dinner on a Friday afternoon & sat on the beautiful terrace. Every bite was delicious, & the wine menu is awesome. Our server was absolutely rocking the entire terrace, we felt really well taken-care of, even though we were there with our small baby. We will be back !
I was with a friend from Vancouver & we were walking around to find a nice place for diner (we were at Siboire before at it was super nice but we wanted to find somewhere else to eat) the staff was nice at the beginning, but the music inside was LOUD. We asked to go to the patio, then we asked about wine (glasses & bottle price) & they said there was no menu for glass (??) Just for bottles. I asked the price & they said'glass is 13 to 16$, bottles are 60 to 200$', I said I wanted to know each SPECIFIC price & they said'you have to ask for each wine & then I can tell you' so I felt they were judging us, as people that couldn't afford their food/wine. I got a 60$ wine bottle, & we got the octopus dish, one of the most expensive in the menu. The food was delicious, but they serve the diners in a dessert dish, tiny portions (we looked at the Google pictures before, & it looked like a diner dish) so we were frustrated. I would not recommend it.
Adorable little cocktail & wine bar tucked away in the mile end. We had two cocktails & the recommended rosé as well as a bowl of their marinated olives. It's a super cute location with a charming & helpful wait staff. Stop by if you have the chance & enjoy an inventive cocktail or really excellent glass of wine!
Exceptional food, service & a quite impressive wine list. The staff was very accommodating to my wife & I as english speakers & never failed to keep our water glasses full or bus away our dishes in a timely fashion between courses. A must visit spot in Mile End
I love this place, it's one of my favorite longue between 3 in Montreal. Service is perfect. The poivre d'Ane rouge one of the best light wine I ever tried. Keep up your awesome work.
Fantastic, flavorful food, creative list of wine by the glass. The Sumner terrace made it even better. Service was a little slow but very attentive.
Amazing wine selection, fantastic food, spectacular vibes. The wholllle team is so nice ! Shout out to Kim!
Really fell inlove with Kim, Camellia, & Madj. Food, service, & vibe is all a 10/10z come here for good drinks, wine & food. Perfect date night
A nice place to take a break after a walk along the mile end & have a couple of cocktails or wine with appetizers. Very pleasant atmosphere & good service.
Great bar with a wide selection of wine & drinks. The octopus was the show of the night. Well made & delicious.
Food was great, the brussels sprouts were out of this world. Long wine list & cocktails were solid. No reservations so it can be hard getting a table. Service could have been better, we ordered half the menu & almost all the plates came at the same time, we didn't have enough space on the table & plates were getting cold.
Cute bar with a beautifully renovated interior. Good location & great service. Love the old school phone mounted to the wall & loved hearing it ring. Didn’t try the food but the Albert cocktail was great! Their beer options are a bit disappointing if you’re with someone looking for a beer over a glass of wine or cocktail, but they had some interesting (albeit pricy) options in addition to the standard beer on tap. Definitely a nice ambiance.
In brief the service was poor, the food average & the price very high. We wanted to order wine by the glass. The wine list does not include wine by the glass & we had to wait for a waiter to describe what was available. The verbal recommendations were not explicit enough but we got tired of asking follow-up questions. Even when we asked for the price of the wine the response was vague, he gave us a price range. We also ordered a gravlax as a snack. It was brought without napkins nor utensils. We could not get a waiter’s attention & had to get up & get the napkins & utensils ourselves. The gravlax was mediocre. Our wines ended up being $17 each plus tax & tip. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
