CAFFETTIERA (une cafetière Moka en italien), situé dans le Mille carré doré de Montréal, est un bar italien inspiré des années 90.
Le ‘‘ bar ’’, pour les italiens, est l’endroit où l’on va durant sa journée, pour prendre une pause. Notre espresso est torréfié en Italie et infusé avec des machines à piston Vittorio Arduini ainsi qu’avec les classiques Bialettis.

Caffettiera (moka coffee pot in italian) is a 90’s inspired Italian bar located in Montreal’s Golden Square Mile. For Italians, the “bar” is where one goes to take a break from the day.
Our espresso is roasted in Italy and brewed from shiny Vittorio Arduini Lever machines as well as classic Bialettis.
Bar Caffettiera est perçu comme un café italien authentique, avec un espresso et des pâtisseries de grande qualité, notamment le croissant à la pistache et le bombolone à la Nutella, ainsi que des sandwiches et des granitas. L'ambiance est vivante et conviviale avec une vibe italienne forte, musique parfois très forte, et une terrasse agréable en été; l'endroit peut devenir très fréquenté et les espaces restreints, ce qui peut rendre le service un peu chaotique ou bruyant selon les heures. Don't be fooled by the modern decor, everything about this place is old school & top notch. Not to mention the best coffee bean in Montreal. There's a reason their sandwiches don't have more than 2 or 3 ingredients, they let the quality shine, no need for overpowering sauces or dressings. This is the Italian way. Keep it up!
BEST COFFEE SHOP IN DOWNTOWN. This is the only spot in downtown that has AUTHENTIC pistachio Bombolone. The espresso is sharp, clean & smooth. Perfectly Italian spot. Service is easy & the people behind the bar are always smiling & helpful. They also have an extensive collection of European confectioneries
Bel posto. I ragazzi sono molto simpatico. Davvero gentile. Mi hanno dato anche un bicchiere d'acqua prima Lo café come in italia . Cinque Stelle per me. Raccomandò a tutti che vuole un'autentica esperienza italiana.
I absolutely loved this place! The Studentessa sandwich was amazing. I also loved the espresso, the flavour was very intense. I will come back here next time I am in Montreal.
An exceptional coffee destination! The coffee itself was outstanding, & the food was equally delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly & efficient, creating a cozy cafe atmosphere reminiscent of Italy. A little slice of Italian charm right in this cafe!
A true down to earth cafe that serves unpretentious coffee. Their roast is excellent & the food selection, though limited is always fresh & tasty. Though downtown, the Cafe has a neighborhood vibe where you often see regulars. It is clear that the team cares about quality & that they take pride in the coffee & food. It is always a pleasure to see Luca behind the bar. This is my go to lacs for a quick coffee downtown.
J'y suis entré par pure hasard, en attendant mon rdv pour une manucure à côté... quel endroit magique, le café , les sandwichs, le staff tout est parfait, l'ambiance vraiment sympa , j'y suis retourné après à tous les jours Je n'ai jamais mangé de si bons sandwich.Allez y ... ça vaut le détour.
Such a cute coffee spot! First of all the coffee is really good & they got a couple specialty coffee drinks worth trying. I also got a Pistachio bomboloni which was delicious. + The staff at the counter was very sweet & welcoming as well. + The decor is absolutely adorable. Space is limited though, so keep that in mind when coming in that you may not have a spot to sit down (& the available space is cramped). It's a shame since the café is so cute & you would want to sit down to enjoy it, but hey not much can be done about that. It is what it is.
