I briefly searched for something in the area during my business trip & saw that this spot aligned perfectly with what I had envisioned, but it still exceeded my expectations. I felt transported & delighted by the energy in the space & how unique but accessible the vision of the owners was conveyed. They do things their way, but they bring you along with them for the ride. They have created an experience, which is what has gone missing from many chain coffee shops & is now being yearned for by so many. Grazie for the Nutella + caffè, friends!
Wow! This bathroom is a delight! Not only can you get yourself a delightfully authentic Italian coffee, but you can also admire your visage in a Rubik's cube mirror while you relieve yourself in a large basin sink. The 100 year Italian soap is an incredible feature, as well as the robotic garbage can. A Montreal must-see bathroom, indeed!
This is the real italian bar in Montreal. Feels like you are at home :)
I got a very strange tasting, grilled cheese & my partner who is granted an espresso snob got a shot that was pulled extremely fast. We mentioned it to the barista who is friendly at first, but this seemed to be an annoyance. Overall not terrible but I wouldn't go back.
This was the sweetest, brightest little café! We came back two days in a row, & probably would have come back every day if we were in Montréal longer. The guy behind the counter was very welcoming (especially as an English speaker in a French-speaking city) & the staff efficient. My husband & I both got the marocchino to drink both days, & got pistachio & cherry pastries - cornettos & doughnut. Everything we got was incredible! We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Montréal!
I stopped by Bar Caffettiera on Stanley after wandering around downtown Montreal, & I have to say, their cappuccino was perfetto! It took me right back to my trip to Italy-the rich, velvety texture of the foam & the strong, bold espresso underneath were just like the ones I enjoyed in Rome. The cozy ambiance of the café added to the experience, making it feel like a little European escape in the heart of the city. If you're a fan of authentic Italian coffee, this place is definitely worth a visit!
Milk texture was bit rough & coffee had bit of aftertaste at first visit but next day was okey so probably depending on a barista.
simply the best :) the staff is always so friendly & the coffee is amazing
Best beans in town for a real Italian espresso. Fantastic service always! Cheers!
Coffee was good. Haven't tried their sandwiches but they have plenty of options( vegetarian too).
Always make a point to stop when in Montreal. Coffee is perfect every time, sandwiches are light & delicious (the rapini is my favourite), & service is always welcoming.
The atmosphere here is incredible, it's visually appealing & I love what they're trying to do. My only complaint, & I guess it's kind of a big one, my double shot of espresso in a latte was not good. The shot took around 15 seconds to pull, & was extremely sour. It happens, & because it was in a latte form, it was tolerable. But I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it as a straight shot. I'd give Bar Caffeettiera a try again though.
The coffee here is amazing! Had to go back two times because I wanted to try everything. Not an overly traditional little coffee shop, it has a fun retro vibe inside & they serve both coffee & cocktails. We tried the regular cafe latte, their version of iced coffee, & the nutella latte. All the drinks were amazing, but I highly recommend their iced latte, which is essentially in the form of a slushy. Highly recommend going in & having a coffee, it was my favorite coffee shop in Montreal during my visit.
We got coffee which was good. The vibe with the music they were playing was great. The barista was trying to sing along which was entertaining clearly he was feeling the music.
