Bar 1994 is just 5 min walk from the hotel. Good food, nice service & atmosphere. Strongly recommended.
Chose this bar for my birthday & called twice to make sure everything would go well. The first time I asked about the menu & how for a group of 12 we would pay & order. I was told that everyone could order a la carte, there was no groupe menu & they could pay as per usual. The service goes well then we get told that the items can't be separated each their own & everything got mixed up. With much trouble we solve it by splitting the bill or so. Then we get to the cake, & barely had the time to eat because at 23:45 we get told you guys have 15min were closing... the ggl map clearly said the closing time is 2am. At no time, either during the 2 phone calls do they warn me about the time. They could've at least told us a bit before so that we could've brought the cake out earlier & not rush to swallow it & leave. At no point would I have chosen a bar that close a 00:00... anyways so after getting rushed out, I realized that they kept my lighters & my candles & 12 sparkles.... way to ruin the mood.
Kind of a bar without a concept with a random christmas tree in the middle. The fries were good tho. Kind of expensive also
Very nice staff & good vibes. But the food is not too good compared to other korean restaurants in mtl. This place has so much potential if the food quantity & quality upgrades. The tteobokki had barely any rice cakes in it :// Other restaurants put a lottt in them. The skewers were not worth the price unfortunately. It just looked rly bad... :( The other plates we ordered were okay!
Great Korean restaurant with decent food in general. Favorite dish was fried chicken, Dak Galbi barely had any chicken & was not worth it. Cocktail was just okay, I had the litchi one as the waiter said it's the most popular one, but barely taste any alcohol. & they overcharged our half chicken as full chicken until we asked.
I really like this bar! It reminds me of a Korean style sul-jib (beer house) with a revamped version of dishes & decor. I especially like how clean & modern everything is without losing the homeliness of restaurants! I took my brother here for soju & we both loved it! Their appetizers like ju-mok-bap was super good too!
Let’s start off with the good, go here for the cocktails because they’re really good. Service was poor, for 1 hour & half there was only one server & he was the bartender as well. Food was disappointing, I’ve had katsu before & know how it’s supposed to taste. This one was swimming in sauce & it ruined the chicken.
The food is very good, I think the price is decent for the portion given. Drinks are a little pricey but not overpriced. Sadly, the service is very bad every time I come here. Also, there were no more decorations at all when I went the last time (I don't know why they removed the neon lights, perhaps renovation). However, I think there's good potential for the bar to improve if the service gets better. Not recommended as of now.
