Reviews of Banh Mi Banh Yiu highlight fresh ingredients, quick service, and crusty bread with fillings ranging from tofu curry banh mi to spicy chicken and other flavorful options. The atmosphere is described as hip and intimate, with bar seating that invites a relaxed vibe for casual meals or creative writing. Staff are repeatedly noted as friendly and helpful, including allergy guidance. For some, it functions as a solid quick bite in the Mile End and a nice option for a date, while others point out occasional spice differences or smaller portions and bread that can feel a bit dry late in the day. Overall, the reviews paint a place that often delivers fresh, tasty banh mi at reasonable prices, with caveats about consistency.
Ordered online. Honestly disappointed. The packaging was cute, but everything I ordered was just not very good. The bahn mi was not a good balance of flavours, there was mayo (?), the pork was pulled & mushy, & the pickled vegetables didn't give the bite they should. The bread was fine. I got a combo with soba & a cookie as well as an iced coffee. The soba was totally flavorless & the cookie was just ok. The coffee was honestly bad. Could be my fault because I ordered iced coffee for delivery, but regardless it was not a'Vietnamese' coffee. I wouldn't go back here but it wasn't terrible.

What an amazing place! Their tofu curry banh mi is to die for! Its a flavour bomb with delicate texture & perfect toppings combination. The food is fresh & arrives super quick. The atmosphere is hip & intimate & I love sitting at the bar stool & doing creative writing. Its relaxing & the setting opens up to a creative flow. I would also recommend this place for a date.
Visited a couple of days ago, & it is a very mediocre banh mi…. As someone who has spent time in Vietnam, I was excited to give this a try, but was quickly disappointed. Overall it was decent, if you're in the area & need something quick to pick up, or if you know nothing about banh mis. Definitely not the best spot in the city for banh mi…

Tasty banh mi, crusty bread & flavourful chicken filling. I asked for it spicy & it was far from spicy. The mandarin drink was nice too. Staff were friendly & helpful with allergy advice.
Fairly loud music inside.
Bon spot pour un sandwich rapide dans le Mile End. Beware : c'est adéquatement assaisonné ! Le pain était un peu sec, mais j'étais là en fin de journée.
