Afficher toutthai(49) chicken(17) curry(16) rice(13) lunch(12) sauce(12) recommend(12) fish(11) pad thai(10) tasty(10) price(10) sweet(10)I wouldn't recommend eating here honestly. My pad see ew was terrible & tasted weird. It did not look or taste authentic at all. My friend got the pad thai & it wasn't as bad but it was also not great either. It seems like they don't know how to make proper thai food. I'm from nyc & I'm used to having very authentic Thai food so this place did not make the mark. I usually never send food back but I just could not finish my dish. I'm giving 3 stars because the staff were nice & took it off my bill. At least the appetizers & soup were pretty good but the main dishes sucked Edit due to response from owner: I've had very good Thai food in many other cities, not just in New York. Unfortunately your food was simply not good. I am not a picky person so that's saying something. I'd recommend improving your cooking instead of defending it. You've received low ratings from others as well. Please take the feedback of your customers into account if you would like to improve the success of your business. Posting multiple edits is not a good look lol. I'll be recommending my friends to eat at other establishments.
Belle découverte pour le midi, menu simple mais varié, cuisine délicate & savoureusement Thaï, portions parfaites, service efficace & souriant, le tout pour 20$ tx inc. On reviendra...
WE FOUND HAIR ON THREE DISHES *server was helpful Ordered 3 items & Thai milk tea ( Panang Chicken Curry, Beef Udon, & Garlic Pepper Shrimp) Garlic Pepper Shrimp was very bland, the taste were not up to our expectations. We love the Beef Udon & Panang Chicken Curry but we found a hair on both, our server was very friendly & offered us free Ice cream & the whole meal to be free. We got our ice cream & we happened to find another hair in the ice cream. We've been to Bangkok Express for several times, but this time we really did not enjoy the experience. Overall, the food tasted fair for the price, & we paid for the Thai milk tea, server was super helpful & patient (5 star for service), but the restaurant should really do a quality control.
It's a lovely restaurant. It's just that I'm very used to hardcore authentic Thai food (I even traveled to Thailand a couple of times), so this restaurant's foods taste Westernized. But this restaurant will be fine if you're a casual Thai food person.
Fantastic local place, tasty food , sweet, sour & spicy perfectly balanced as it is supposed to be with Thai food, great prices, fast friendly service , pleasant atmosphere, definitely worth a visit
Good ambiance with very tasty food 10/10 must try. I highly recommend the pad thai & the thai milk tea; both rich & deep in flavour 👍
First time here & will definitely come back. Had the pad Thai with shrimp & chicken, red curry with beef, chicken with peanut sauce & mango & pandan sticky rice for dessert.
As you enter the ambiance is very welcoming The service was great & fast The food was great & reminded me of Thailand
Our go to resto. Crispy duck is unreal. Fantastic Pad Thai for those that are picky like us. Gluten sensitivity friendly so it takes the guess work out for us. We literally have not had a bad dish & we've been regulars since 2014. Just ordered more than twice what we wanted so the fridge will be full of leftovers. Green curry is unreal here.
Authentic Thai cuisine on a busy monkland location. I enjoy going there with my friends n family.
A friend of mine & I recently had lunch at Bangkok Express on Monkland Street in NDG, Montreal. We ordered the luncheon special, which included an imperial roll following by chicken in peanut sauce with fried spinach. I expected to receive two rolls as an entrée but we were served only one, which I thought frankly was cheap. The main dish of chicken in peanut sauce was good however the fried spinach is normally cooked with a slightly sweet coating, which in this case, was missing. The service at this Bangkok Express was good & the dishes were served promptly. There was nothing particularly noteworthy about this restaurant, the food was the same as I've had numerous times in other Thai or Asian restaurants. They probably use the same wholesale food supplier.
I love Thai food & everything I ordered here was delicious with great service! The tapioca pudding was yummy 😋
Delicious Thai food. We had curry beef , pad thai noodles & general Thai chicken & cold spring rolls. Scrumptious...all of it. Ask for large plates if you are sharing ala carte dishes. We got 6 inch dessert plates when we asked. The only thing those are good for is eating cake. Ask for ice also, we got warm, room temperature water. They don't have chilled water. They have ice..you just have to ask for it. I would have said something but I was with others. Forgot to take pics. Next time
I had an incredible dining experience at this Thai restaurant! The food was bursting with authentic flavors, & the presentation was exquisite. The staff was attentive & friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. I can't wait to return for more delicious Thai cuisine!
Nice thai place. Reasonable prices & amazing taste. Always try the thai mango sticky rice if they have it

We ordered take out here & the food was so good it drove me to write my first ever restaurant review. We got green curry, pad see ew, & a few appetizers. Everything was top notch. The pieces of meat were generous & of good size. The other ingredients seemed to be high quality & authentic. Of note they used bamboo shoots & asian eggplant that I usually see substituted out so I considered them a real treat here.
This place certainly blows away Thai Express & Sesame which Montrealers may be familiar with. I consider Thai Express to be of low quality, but reasonably priced. I consider Sesame to be chintzy for its price & only marginally better than Thai Express. If you have another local Thai place you love I can't speak to that, but if Bangkok Express is near enough to you I recommend giving it a try.
Note that we ordered take out rather than dined in, but I gave the service high marks because the food was ready quickly & the take out person was very friendly & prompt.
