Afficher tout thai(48) chicken(17) curry(16) sauce(12) recommend(12) rice(12) fish(10) sweet(10) pad thai(9) lunch(9) peanut(9) spicy(9)The choo-chee is absolutely delicious & the portions are definitely generous. I also got to try their satay dumplings but I found the peanut sauce quite overpowering. Other than that very nice restaurant with a calm vibe, will definitely come again
We absolutely love this restaurant every time we come to Montreal from Toronto. It is so delicious there!
I wanted so badly to take the peanut sauce home, & it IS an option, just we were going back that same day. Next time, absolutely will.
The food is delicious
We visit this restaurant periodically & with big family for the last 2 years.
We have always been satisfied honestly we love their dumplings with peanut sauce ... today it was an unpleasant experience ! We cannot explain why but food tasted bad (thai sweet & sour for example) we did not enjoy. We usually had fun reading the fortune cookies for the whole family, we discovered today that they are not offered anymore & we have to pay for them even though the bill was massive, they did not offer for the kids at least ... that's unfortunate ... I do not think it is worth the drive anymore ...
Bangkok Express one me over with their excellent & authenticallyThai green curry. The service is genuinely friendly & attentive, & the atmosphere is warm & comfortable. Unfortunately, the peanut chicken wasn't the best I've ever had & the garlic pepper chicken was much too sweet. Nevertheless, I will be returning to sample the rest of Bangkok Express's menu.
The pad thai was amazingly flavourful! I can eat it everyday. The peanut sauce was outstanding too. I loved it.
First time here & will definitely come back. Had the pad Thai with shrimp & chicken, red curry with beef, chicken with peanut sauce & mango & pandan sticky rice for dessert.
A friend of mine & I recently had lunch at Bangkok Express on Monkland Street in NDG, Montreal. We ordered the luncheon special, which included an imperial roll following by chicken in peanut sauce with fried spinach. I expected to receive two rolls as an entrée but we were served only one, which I thought frankly was cheap. The main dish of chicken in peanut sauce was good however the fried spinach is normally cooked with a slightly sweet coating, which in this case, was missing. The service at this Bangkok Express was good & the dishes were served promptly. There was nothing particularly noteworthy about this restaurant, the food was the same as I've had numerous times in other Thai or Asian restaurants. They probably use the same wholesale food supplier.
The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. Their peanut chicken is excellent. I always enjoy my visit at the restaurant. Can't wait for summer when their terrace is open.
The food was just awful. I ordered the peanut sauce chicken with sticky rice, the rice was so overcooked that I could not cut it with a knife. I tried with a knife because my fork would not go through the rice.
I called the waitress & she was very insulting, she asked me if I know what sticky rice is? I told her that I eat sticky rice often & I cook it at home.
She also asked me if I know anything about sticky rice? I tried to hold my cool because I was in the company of another person.
I have eaten at other Thai restaurants before & I have never had sticky rice that was so overcooked & as hard as a rock.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. furthermore, I had to ask them to adjust the bill to remove the sticky rice that I returned to the kitchen.
