We went to Bangkok Express & overall had a great experience.
The atmosphere is really nice, with a warm & lively vibe, & the prices are very reasonable, especially for the variety offered on the menu.
Food-wise, it was a good mix:
• The spring rolls & tom yum soup were excellent, full of flavor & very satisfying
• The pad thai was very good, although just a little on the oily side
• The fried rice was good, but not particularly memorable
• Cocktails were nice, but slightly on the sweeter side
Service was smooth & the overall experience was very enjoyable.
In short, a solid & satisfying spot with great value for money. We'll definitely be back.
So I have to report this has never happened before:
Ordered Pad thai chicken, Feb 26, first off the portion is smaller, but the main complaint was the chicken, most of it was like powdered, miniscule pieces smaller than rice, like dust. First time ever, this has happened used to be lots of chicken white meat. I felt ripped off big time. Too bad close to my home, but I guess last time!

Un dîner copieux a prix raisonnable. Ça fait longtemps qu'un ami me disait'tu n'as pas manger de bon PadThai tant que tu n'es pas aller manger chez Bangkok' Bin il avait raison. Même la Tofu a du goût. L'expérience est à refaire. Merci
Good Thai restaurant with great Pad Thai & sticky rice. The Thai Tea that I ordered was too sweet & lost its flavour. I would be happy to come back when I next visit Montreal.
My boyfriend & I went last night & it was an amazing experience. For drinks I got the lychee martini, compared to other places this one was the best. My bf got the coconut water & it was sweet a refreshing. We ordered the duck app & sweet & sour wings. The duck was a little salty but still delicious. Wings had the perfect crunch & amount of sauce on them. We both ordered the pad Thai, would have given 5 stars but one of us got the wrong protein in our main dish & it came a little too early we still hadn't finished our appetizers. Nonetheless, service & food was amazing & i would recommend & will be returning !
Nourriture délicieuse Salade de mangue savoureuse, touche umami Soupe tom yum : un spicy balancée & citronnée Pad Thai : portion raisonnable, les saveurs étaient présente, le tofu moelleux, toutefois non épicé de base & plutôt sucré Dessert mangue & riz sucré: frais & réconfortant Crème glacée matcha, portion très satisfaisante & les arômes sont au rendez-vous! Bien hâte d'essayer celle au Taro!
I wouldn't recommend eating here honestly. My pad see ew was terrible & tasted weird. It did not look or taste authentic at all. My friend got the pad thai & it wasn't as bad but it was also not great either. It seems like they don't know how to make proper thai food. I'm from nyc & I'm used to having very authentic Thai food so this place did not make the mark. I usually never send food back but I just could not finish my dish. I'm giving 3 stars because the staff were nice & took it off my bill. At least the appetizers & soup were pretty good but the main dishes sucked Edit due to response from owner: I've had very good Thai food in many other cities, not just in New York. Unfortunately your food was simply not good. I am not a picky person so that's saying something. I'd recommend improving your cooking instead of defending it. You've received low ratings from others as well. Please take the feedback of your customers into account if you would like to improve the success of your business. Posting multiple edits is not a good look lol. I'll be recommending my friends to eat at other establishments.
First time here & will definitely come back. Had the pad Thai with shrimp & chicken, red curry with beef, chicken with peanut sauce & mango & pandan sticky rice for dessert.

Our go to resto. Crispy duck is unreal. Fantastic Pad Thai for those that are picky like us. Gluten sensitivity friendly so it takes the guess work out for us. We literally have not had a bad dish & we've been regulars since 2014. Just ordered more than twice what we wanted so the fridge will be full of leftovers. Green curry is unreal here.
Delicious Thai food. We had curry beef , pad thai noodles & general Thai chicken & cold spring rolls. Scrumptious...all of it. Ask for large plates if you are sharing ala carte dishes. We got 6 inch dessert plates when we asked. The only thing those are good for is eating cake. Ask for ice also, we got warm, room temperature water. They don't have chilled water. They have ice..you just have to ask for it. I would have said something but I was with others. Forgot to take pics. Next time

We ordered take out here & the food was so good it drove me to write my first ever restaurant review. We got green curry, pad see ew, & a few appetizers. Everything was top notch. The pieces of meat were generous & of good size. The other ingredients seemed to be high quality & authentic. Of note they used bamboo shoots & asian eggplant that I usually see substituted out so I considered them a real treat here.
This place certainly blows away Thai Express & Sesame which Montrealers may be familiar with. I consider Thai Express to be of low quality, but reasonably priced. I consider Sesame to be chintzy for its price & only marginally better than Thai Express. If you have another local Thai place you love I can't speak to that, but if Bangkok Express is near enough to you I recommend giving it a try.
Note that we ordered take out rather than dined in, but I gave the service high marks because the food was ready quickly & the take out person was very friendly & prompt.
After waiting for 10 minutes at the door to be seated, our presence was finally acknowledged & we went to eat on the terasse. The appetizers (fried dumplings & egg rolls) were quite good. The 2 entrees were garlic chicken (very small chicken pieces) & the Pad Thai which really disappointed me as it was quite greasy & had very little meat & only 2 small shrimp. Prices are quite reasonable & service is passable.
Started with poor service with 35 min to get water
Food is truly mediocre, save money go to Thai express, much better pad thai
Fish was barely cooked. Fried noodles tasted cardboard
Sorry, not going back there!
