I've been a regular at Aylwin BBQ for years & let me tell you, the quality has always been tip-top, every single visit. Consistency like this is rare, & they never disappoint.
Just this morning, at 10:30 AM, I grabbed their cheeseburger for breakfast, & wow! It absolutely hit the spot! Juicy, perfectly seasoned, & smoky in all the right ways. That's the kind of food that makes you smile & sets the tone for your whole day.
What sets Aylwin apart is not just the flavors, but the craftsmanship. They use a Yoder smoker, one of the best smokers out there, & you can really taste the difference in every bite.
Please never change - Montreal needs you just the way you are! Without question, this is one of the best (if not the best) BBQ joints in the city. Highly recommend to anyone: once you try it, you'll never be able to walk past Atwater Market without stopping in.

I had the brisket since everyone said it was good - & it was! The line was long & some of the locals chatted about how good it was. But it moved fairly quickly & the food got served quickly as well.
I've had phenomenal bbq in Texas & other famous bbq places & this is good brisket. I would definitely recommend.
After walking through the meat market, the mere presence of this establishment induced salivation. Fortunately, the meal went above & beyond the high expectations I had.
For only 30CAD, between 2 people we rolled out of the market, bellies full of the most succulent pork ribs, juicy melt-in-your-mouth smoked sausage, & a light green goddess salad to cut the heavy meat. I'll add, the ribs had a gorgeous dry rub with the tastiest hot sauce & bbq on the side--perfect for not getting your face soaked in sauce & leaving plenty of delicious rib flavor to enjoy.
Best spot at Atwater market & overall best BBQ spot in Montreal. The frozen margaritas were a fantastic add! The brisket is out of this world. 1000% recommend.

Delicious bbq, was looking for one for ages in Montreal & this place truly did not disappoint. Huge portions & reasonable prices for high quality & refined food. Highly recommend. Especially loved the smokey juicy sausage, the brisket, the tacos & the buns. Great sauces too.
Hands down the best smoked brisket I've had in my life. Never had a cut of meat that tender, melts in your mouth. 🤤 The homemade coleslaw & pickles are very good too. Highly recommend. Look forward to trying their ribs next time.
I took the pulled pork sandwich, & omahgad if it isn't the best one I've had in years I don't know what it is. Truly a 11/10. Service is impeccable, food is bussin bussin. I warmly recommend!
