Ont étais 10 & le service rarement eux aussi bien servi . Tellement rafraîchissant de voir une jeune allumé & plaisante une vrais perle . La bouffe est typique Duluth ont a eux ce que nous voulons .prix très raisonnable. Toujours un plaisir a visité.
We took my mother in-law out for supper from her seniors residence, & we were not disappointed. Excellent service from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. & the food was just as good as the service , huge portions at decent prices . Server was constantly checking on water & refilling as needed , brought extra napkins without us even asking . We were able to bring our own wine . Great job by the staff at Le Vieux Duluth, we will be back.
There was a time that I thought the restaurant chain was a cheap imitation of Souvlaki'Joints' that we typically avoided when wanting to dine out. No Longer. The locations are bright & airy. It helps when there is no smoking any more inside a dining establishment. The menu's offer a really wide choice of dishes to choose from & not only Souvlaki. The staff are all pleasant & efficient & help each other at all the tables. Our waiter was able to quickly answer the questions that were asked & minor changes to the main courses we ordered were not an issue. We started with a calamari dish to share while the mains were being prepared & we all commented that it was some of the tastiest & freshest we had ever enjoyed. Not a single piece was'Rubbery' that required heavy chewing. All our mains from the Chicken Au Grilloir - Shrimp - Souvlaki & Hamburger Steak were well prepared. The sides of salad & rice as accompaniments are ample. None of us complained we didn't have enough to eat & with these dishes priced between $19.95 - $24.95 the value is there.
Nous sommes allés pour un anniversaire, je dois dire que ce n'était pas notre choix & que nous y allions un peu de reculons mais bon, nous avons été agréablement surpris, que ce soit la qualité & la rapidité du service, la nourriture était excellente, nous avons pris des entrées & comme plats principaux, j'ai pris le filet de doré & mon conjoint l'agneau, tout était délicieux. Nous étions un groupe de 13 personnes rien de négatif à dire que du positif, personnel accueillant, souriant & chaleureux, très belle soirée!
Ate here yesterday for my 40th birthday with my family & it was so-so to ok. 1) Very nice restaurant, clean with modern decor. 2) Waiter did not come often to check if we needed more water, bread or if everything was ok. 3) Food took extremely long to come & my son had to wait 15 mins for his food to get served, after ours was served. So his sister shared her food with him because he had nothing served until 15 mins later. 4) Very hard to get the attention of a waiter when we needed more water or wanted to order more food from the menu. 5) Au Vieux Duluth Dorion is 20 mins away & has very fast attentive service with the food tasting even better. 6) My 6 & 3 year old kids were served watery orange juice in tall wine glasses, filled to the brim with straws. What was the waiter thinking to serve these to children! This was a spilled mess disaster waiting to happen. At the Dorion restaurant, they are always given apple juice in a child appropriate bottles. Overall, we came to the DDO location to make it easier for my West Island family to attend. But next time, we're sticking to the Dorion location which offers a better customer experience for your money.
Big restaurant & amazing food. Huge variety & they do everything well here. Chicken brochette was so moist & perfect. Accommodated our reservation for a very large group over 20 easily with one guy. Unfortunately under staffed but they bust their butts & did a terrific job. Highly recommend 👌
