De ma part mon choix de menu était coté de cochon portion parfaite goût délicieux l'entrée pétoncle mais vraiment pour 23.00$ Il y avait qu'un once de pétoncles très déçu mais le goût original...mon mari à choisi leMapo tofu il a trouvé qu'il y avait trop de foie gras pas assez cuit les nouilles d'accompagnement trop cuites trop de sauce d'huile qui envahissait le tout très déçu. J'ai confiance en vous car je sais que tout était frais & qu'ils ont fait leur possible pour nous satisfaire mais.......merci quand même
Service was very attentive & friendly with a professional demeanour.
We sat at the bar directly in front of the open kitchen. The cooks were happy & welcoming. The food was expertly prepared & presented. It was an over all pleasure to to experience an evening w'ell never forget.
The staff has a tendency to interrupt each other while they're talking to customers. It's disrespectful.

Overall everything was "AMAZING". My wife, a friend & I came here & had an "AMAZING" time. I wanted to try everything on the menu but alas had to settle for just a few things. It just means that I NEED to come back (being from Alberta, we don't get to Montreal too often). Our friend was impressed by the presentation & pouring the sauces for the Plogue A Champlain. I had the Pork Shank & it was delicious & filling. Originally I was thinking about ordering the "Duck in a Can" but when I overheard the customer at the next table who had the "Pork Shank" tell his waiter "I surrender", I decided to take up the challenge. The ambiance is a bit noisy but was expected.
All the servers were great however my wife was somewhat disappointed as we were not told the nightly specials which was "Sheppard's pie" (it was at another table) but overall her choice turned out great. Kudos to the chefs, servers & all the staff who make this place AMAZING. I look forward to coming back the next time I get to Montreal & will recommend to all our friends.
Sat at the bar - best seat in the house, get to watch the kitchen staff work & do all food preparation!
Je vais au pied de cochon depuis des années. Le repas d'hier soir n'était pas à la hauteur des expériences passées.

My friend & I sat at the bar & it was like dinner & a show! We loved watching the work being done in the kitchen & the food was delicious! I'm not a big foie gras person, but I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered that had them. The dishes were all unique & the flavors went well together. I loved the mapo tofu udon dish. The flavors were unexpected & would have tasted great even without the foie gras.
La meilleure expérience au restaurant de toute ma vie. Joao est un professionnel exceptionnel : compétent & sympathique, il nous a conseillé les plats vraiment parfaitement. Il a pris le temps de comprendre ce que nous cherchions comme expérience & il nous a conseillé chaque plats parfaitement. Il nous a vraiment fait un cadeau avec sa personnalité & son savoir-faire.
Le reste de l'équipe s'est également montrée de très haute qualité. On a passé una soirée magnifique !

- [ ] Every time my boyfriend comes to montreal he comes here. It was my first time. We sat at the bar & loved it. The foie gras nigiri was so good we ordered 2. My boyfriend raved about the urchin. The fois gras mapo tofu was delicious & the special of the night which was a scallop dumpling was insane. The ginea fowl leg & maple fries did not disappoint either. Dessert was hot caramel pudding with foie gras & cheese, a surprisingly delicious combination. High level of service. Very impressed.
