Food was excellent, similar to Joe Beef in quality (but unique). The only thing I would say could use adjustment was the cutlery. I had heard reviews that the Duck in the Can was "tough", the chew was not, however I found my knife to be severely dull which made it difficult to cut it! Otherwise the food was great. It was a bit noisy at times but that is to be expected from a live kitchen. I did recieve one whisky pour that was lacking even for an expensive bottle. Still great overall. Wonderful.
The service was attentive & friendly without ever being intrusive. The beer, wine, & food was all incredible!! I would recommend Au Pied de Cochon to anyone.
J'aurais aimais avoir un peu de légumes avec ma côte de cochon. Viande était trop cuite.
We were seated next to a very loud boisterous group. It was very difficult to hear each other speak due to the noise level.
It was rather challenging dining outside, a man was smoking a very strong smelling cigar. Finally a host came out & asked the man to smoke away from the restaurant.Our meal was delicious.
I try to eat here every time I visit Montreal. Always a fantastic dining experience
Merci à Emile & sa gang. Le magret manquait de tandreté. Le stationnement n'est pas facile à trouvé. L'équipe est sensationnelle! On se sentait tellement bien! Comme si on était de vieux clients. Quoique qu'on ait été deux fois à Mirabel. Un gros merci!

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par l'équipe en place dans une ambiance de fratrie. L'expérience gustative équivalait à un saut en parachute pour les papilles (remarque de mon fils qui y était pour son 15 ème anniversaire). Merci au chef pour sa générosité & son partage. Merci au cuisinier qui a répondu à toutes les questions posées durand la soirée. Une tradition vient de naître.
Servers were super nice. The outdoor seating area could use some heat lamps.
I have wanted to come here for many years (I live in NYC), & it did not disappoint. So worth the wait!!
Life changing experience. Strongly recommend the mushroom foie gras dish.
