The service was extremely bad & ridiculously slow. Took almost 20 minutes to get coffee. The food was good but the latkes weren't hot & didn't taste fresh. Maybe it was a fluke because it was right before Christmas. I do hope Arthur's Cathcart starts to open on the weekends going forward. It's always busy so why not?!

The food & space were fantastic, & the wait time to get our food was very reasonable.
The only negative about our outing was the service, which was below par. Our waiter was not very friendly or helpful to us from the start. We had to ask three times to get paper menus once seated(with wait times of 10-15 minutes in between check ins), & one of the drinks I ordered never showed up, even after asking twice about it.
Luckily the forgotten drink wasn't charged, & the food & ambiance definitely made up for the issues with service, but our entire experience ended up being over an hour when it could have easily clocked in under that if the wait staff were more attentive.
Second time I visit & I love the food, it s next level. The service though is lacklustre. After ordering, good luck getting a coffee refill & you have to flag down the waitress for bill. Although it is not in your control, the atmosphere is loud when crowded. Tables could use more spacing for some privacy.

We loved Arthur's at Le Cathcart! The food was excellent, the boozy brew was a delightful morning beverage, & the service was awesome. Would definitely recommend. We had the challah with butter & honey, which was drool-inducing, the shakshuka - perfectly balanced flavor, & the latke special - delightful, filling, & perfectly salty with the caviar. We'd be back if we were local!
My friend & I went for brunch on a Saturday & were delighted with the special brunch menu item options! We were talking about how we would love to see Saturday brunch be a permanent edition as it's easier to go on the weekends! Thank you to the staff who made our experience special & checked in on us throughout our brunch experience!
