Couldn't taste the cottage cheese in the pancakes & paid $8 for three stripes of beef bacon as a side. They also have'Israeli Salad' in one item which I'm not sure what it is but don't think it's real. If you're dining in Montreal, I'd recommend going to a local cafe instead of whatever that place is. The location is aesthetic but the restaurant is not one you should go too.
A lot of people made some mistakes, which is not a problem because of how good the food was. If you find yourself in need of a good breakfast, then this is the place for you, & I would 100% recommend the cottage cheese pancakes.
Nice place, good food but expect the bite of high prices. I got an avocado toast, with 1 egg & thin slice of smoked salmon with a side of potatoes, no coffee or alcohol & I paid (for one person) +$50 tips included. Portions are fairly small if you were wondering but the food is good.
For gluten or lactose intolerance they have very little option, meaning 1 that had no cheese on it, the avocado toast. My friends paid around the same but general consensus … & again food & the quality of the ingredients was also good.
The cottage cheese pancakes might honestly be the best pancakes I've ever had in my life light, fluffy & absolutely unforgettable. We also tried the deluxe breakfast sandwich, the latkes & the babka & every single bite was outstanding.
The service was warm, quick & genuinely friendly. & the atmosphere at Le Cathcart especially with that beautiful natural winter light pouring in makes the whole experience even more special. It's the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit.
✨ Looking for the ultimate Montreal brunch vibe? Look no further than Arthur's Nosh Bar at Le Cathcart! 🥯✨
Whether you're craving their legendary McArthur sandwich or those world-famous cottage cheese pancakes, this spot is a masterclass in Jewish soul food with a modern twist. 🥞✡? Situated in the heart of PVM, it's the perfect place to fuel up during a downtown shopping spree or a weekend catch-up with the crew.
Cool Fact: Did you know Arthur's is a true family affair? Named after co-owner Reagan Steinberg's father, the restaurant is built on the philosophy of'Nosh' (snacking) & bringing people together through recipes that feel like home. 🏠❤?
Come for the food, stay for the aesthetic, & leave with a very happy stomach. See you at the bar! 🥂

First time visiting Arthur's & we were blown away. The cottage cheese pancakes are possibly the best pancakes I've ever had. We also tried the deluxe breakfast sandwich & the latkes, as well as the babka. Everything was excellent.
Service was quick & friendly & the vibe in Le Cathcart is quite nice, especially with the natural light in the winter.
It was a really good brunch. The cottage cheese pancakes are so yum. I also had the breakfast sandwich which was also really good. Highly suggest this place & recommend to get the pancakes!
I had heard a lot about this restaurant & finally had the opportunity to go. The food was incredible, especially the Syrniki, the cottage cheese pancakes, which are very famous, & now I understand why, simply delicious. The staff were friendly & welcoming. The atmosphere was good & the location is great. Highly recommended!
I made a reservation for Sunday breakfast but was surprised to find plenty of open seating when we arrived. That said, everything else was great. The cottage cheese pancakes were delicious, & the latke special tasted good with a nice side salad. Kind of a longer wait time for the food arrive though. Service was very friendly & attentive without being overbearing. A solid spot with good vibes.
