La serveuse grande de taille, aux tresses, était exécrable à notre égard. Je n'ai jamais reçu un service aussi catastrophique, à Montréal & hors Montréal. Elle nous parlait comme des moins que rien, pas un sourire, elle balançait notre plat sur la table (jusqu'à en faire couler le sirop d'érable des pancakes). Quelle maladresse, quel manque de classe, & surtout quel gâchis pour une enseigne comme Arthur's!
Really great food but honestly some of the worst service I've ever received. The food was amazing but we had to wait 20 minutes to order, after a server said they would be back in 2 minutes, then never returned. It then took 30 minutes after we had finished eating & were waiting to ask for the bill to get any service, & I had to go ask for the bill to even get one, which took an additional 10 minutes. I can understand being understaffed but when we watched multiple staff members including our server (who also had to be everyone's bartender) stop & speak for extended periods of time to a person sitting at the bar (I assume a staff member by their interactions) it makes the excuse pretty weak. $4.75 for a drip coffee is also crazy, but it was good
Went solo (waited about 10 minutes) got seated & got my order 5 minutes after ordering, even tho the place was packed. got seated at the table which happily surprised me. very satisfied with the food & service, super nice staff.
Le service est bon. Les prix sont plus élevés que la moyenne. J'ai choisi le Homerun. C'est une grosse portion. Je recommande de partager ce repas à 2 personnes. J'ai aimé mon assiette. Une bonne combinaison de sucré salé épicée. Le café Latté est une bonne quantité. Je suis contente d'avoir essayé la place. Nous étions 15 personnes.
Comme c'est une succursale d'un endroit déjà très connu pour les brunchs, j'avais beaucoup d'attentes. Ce n'était peut-être pas le meilleur brunch que j'ai mangé, mais c'était quand même très bon.
On était un grand groupe & le service était rapide & efficace, ce qui était vraiment apprécié.
Arthur's Nosh Bar absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was phenomenal, especially the pancakes, which were honestly some of the best I've had anywhere.
But what really stood out was Irma at the front. The restaurant was packed, nonstop busy, & she handled everything with an unbelievable level of composure, warmth, & professionalism. She didn't just greet guests, she completely controlled the energy & flow of the room in a way that made the entire experience feel elevated from the moment we walked in.
You can tell immediately when someone is simply doing a job versus someone who genuinely understands hospitality & takes ownership of the guest experience. Irma has that rare ability to make every table feel important while still keeping the operation running smoothly during a rush.
Honestly, people like this are a huge part of why restaurants become successful long term. The owners of Arthur's should know they have someone extremely special representing their brand. Employees with that level of professionalism, awareness, & leadership presence are very hard to find.
Will absolutely be back.
What a pleasant experience! Food was incredible as was the service. A big thank you to Irma! She was so welcoming. We will back.
Tres bonne experience au Arthurs, de l'hôtesse au service en general.
Il faut cependant prendre un peu son mal en patience si le restaurant est rempli.
La nourriture est excellente.

Food great as always but the server today (guy with a ponytail & glasses) was not great at all. When we got our food I also asked for pancakes to go. He said it would take 10-15 min & I had no problem with that time. After 20min of no food or updates I asked him how much longer & he said 10 min. I told him it's already been 20 since he told me 10-15min. He got very upset & said'there is a lot of people & a lot of group'. Im sorry but how is that my problem? Im going off of timing expectation he set (not me). I paid & left. I chatted with the manager about how the server got upset at me for daring to ask for an update & him too (the manager) told me the same excuse that there were a lot of people. So the problem here is lack of customer service. Unable to set expectations & unable to properly handle a simple question. I guess if the manager handles a situation like this why would the server care to be polite ? 😂!
