Review Summary

Overall, Arthur's Nosh Bar is widely praised for its cottage cheese pancakes and latkes, with many noting the menu blends Jewish soul food with a modern twist. The McArthur sandwich and other brunch staples like shakshouka and the babka are repeatedly described as delicious and satisfying, though several reviews mention high prices relative to portions. Ambience is often highlighted for bright, airy spaces and inviting decor, and reservations are commonly recommended to avoid peak hour waits. Service varies by visit, ranging from warm, attentive teams to slower days during busy periods, with some comments about long waits or limited availability of items and a few unfriendly host experiences. Overall, Arthur's Nosh Bar is regarded as a standout brunch option in Montreal, offering comforting dishes with reliable quality and a lively atmosphere, tempered by occasional price concerns, wait times, and service hiccups.

We loved Arthur's at Le Cathcart! The food was excellent, the boozy brew was a delightful morning beverage, & the service was awesome. Would definitely recommend. We had the challah with butter & honey, which was drool-inducing, the shakshuka - perfectly balanced flavor, & the latke special - delightful, filling, & perfectly salty with the caviar. We'd be back if we were local!

Food was good as usual but the wait ?! One hour waiting for our lunch after ordering got the latkes after finishing my plate & had to wait another 20min for pancakes.
